When a safety issue has been activated, it generally means that it should be taken to a technician. In other words, the machine has a fault that prevents it from functioning for the safety of the user.

Safety device activated message

Usually due to overload...too thick fabric, thread jam...motor cuts when it senses it is being asked to work too hard
leave a few minutes and try again...also check for thread jammed somewhere in moving parts

Machine stopped sewing, needle shuddered and quivered, display screen said to stop could be safety issues, looked at manual, said thread jam or needed new needle, i changed needle there were no jams,

then they didn't not fix the machine,, I suggest to take the machine back to them
& tell them how much you don't appricate it's still doing the same thing.
I've heard of this happening before.

My sewing machine gears jammed.

One or more of the bushings is seized, the machine needs to disassembled, the bushings removed, cleaned, re-lubricated. Not something you can do yourself.

SEWING THREAD COLLECTED IN BOBBIN AREA MACHINE JAMMED AND TURNED OFF AND WILL NOT TURN ON AGAIN

If you check your threading, you will most likely find that the take-up lever is not threaded. The jam in the bobbin case caused the safety fuse to blow to prevent the circuit board to overload.

Replacing the fuse is quite easy, but requires a knowledgeable service person.

When you say jams up from the under could you please tell me what exactly is jamming up. Is it the bobbin thread jamming? I've had the "safety lock" warning but I need to know exactly what you were doing. OK

Brother 2001 sewing and embroidery machine.

The fact that your machine is turning hard says you still have some thread inside the machine that is binding up and activating the safety device. It must turn easily before it will work properly again.
Sometimes the machine must be disassembled to remove these threads.
