Question about Garden

Open Question

I am the happy owner of a Gardena Aquazoom 350T. However, the male quick-disconnect feature (that covers the metal mesh water filter) has not proved to be as substantial and reliable as the rest of the sprinkler. Last year it crack off while the hose adapter was attached. I managed toretrieve the part, and glued it back together with Super Glue, not realizing that Super Glue is NOT waterproof. Needless to say, the glued joint came apart again this summer, after several long watering sessions. I currently am trying a waterproof glue made specifically to repair plastic. Only time will tell how long this patch will hold. I would very much like to replace this part, as well as the female hose adapter, which has a small but annoying crack that leaks. May I send you the parts somewhere to be replaced? Order the parts directly? I still have the original box, with parts pictures and descriptions, but alas, no part numbers.

SOURCE: Which glue to reattach chromed plastic to plastic?

Use old fashioned model cement. Not the child safe type. The old type will melt the styrene to the styrene. The new stuff only fills the gap but never really makes a good bond.

Sue your brother is right! I had the same problem and it turned out to be the gas cap. the small breather hole on the top was plugged with dirt. once I cleaned it out I took the rubber gasket out from the bottom of the cap and cleaned that as well. runs great now.

Why can I not get past the "set time" on Gardena water timer?

Check if you get water from the tap without water timer.
Look for obstruction in filter washer (rubber washer with screen mesh to keep debris out of timer)
Battery operated water timers are made to last few years, and cannot be exposed to freezing temperatures or hot sunlight

Gardenia aquazoom

$51 for a $12 sprinkler, that has a $8 water timer that you can buy separately at local box store?
Clean out the filter washer where water hose connects. Soak the sprinkler in white vinegar. Otherwise the unit appears to manufactured so that disassembly and part replacement is not possible... this is typical of all plastic water timers.
Don't buy gardena products since they have no online support, as found offered from companies like Orbit etc.
Always buy sprinkler timers and watering equipment at local store so returns are easy.
When buying online products that offer warranty, check who supports that warranty... because the seller usually offers 90 day exchange and nothing more... and then you have shipping costs to seller.
When buying online products, check if the manufacturer has website that offers support. If replacement parts are needed, ask who will sell those parts when needed a few yeaRs later. For example gardena site shows a link for parts but no parts are offered for sale, nor any parts sheets available, so there is no way to identify parts.
Never expect a plastic water timer to last very long.

Gardena t14 manual swich button is stuck . Cannot program timer

There is no magic cure for plastic, battery-operated, digital, water timers that are exposed to weather.
Try spraying WD40 on the button.
Turn timer upside down and spray WD40 again so debris can work it's way out of timer button.
Keep a cover over timer, do not expose to direct hot sun, and do not expose to freezing water or inner plastic valves will break.
Buy another timer.

Copy following link for Gardena manuals:
Copy following link for various other water timers, Toro, Orbit, Melnor, Raindrip etc in no particular order.

My Gardena T 1030 D water timer wont turn on automatically it does go on when I turn dial to on

Open following link for T1030 manual and Gardena links, including link to contact Gardena and link for parts.

I cannot find T1030D manual to help you solve the problem, other than suggest opening the cover using thumb-latch and change battery and clean the connections.

If you can scan your manual into pdf format and post it on your website, many folks would be happy to have a copy so fixya can help more folks solve Gardena problems.

Also add a comment and say what the manual says about the specific problem you are trying to solve.

Upvote the help.
And take advantage of fixya expert assistance live.
For a price, expert works with you while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

How do you get into the Gardena T120

To access the Gardena T120 diaphragm remove the oval cover at back with small flat screwdrivers to reveal the round retaining cover. The retaining cover unscrews to reveal the diaphram mechanism which can be removed and cleaned. Hopefully this solves the problem.
Dirt or sludge in here cause the timer to stay on or leak.
Stage 2 if the above fails.
Remove the front timer cover with very large flat screwdriver. Simply lever off the front timer cover. This is a brute strength operation. There is no tab or button to help remove the front. Insects and dirt can get in and stop the operation of the needle mechanism.
Stage 3
I do not know how to get to the mechanical timer itself. Any suggestions?

Cannot find wattage of space saver microwave

That would be in your owner's manual, usually on the features page, but sometimes on a different page.

If your manual covers several different models, it may not tell the wattage at all.

The quickest way to find out is probably to enter your model number in the search box here.

Then select the "Quick Specs" link then scroll down to the "Features and Benefits" section of the Quick Specs.
