You need to provide some clarification on this issue. How hot is it getting? What is the ambiant temperature in the area where the spa is located?. Is the spa pump (circulation) running constantly or more than 2 hours during the filtration cycle? What temperature is the spa set on? Is the spa heater light illuminated during the overheating? Are you hearing any water boiling noises after the pump shuts off?. Are you seeing any error codes displayed?

I have the same issue. It is set at 104. Outside temp ranges from 35 to 75. Motor runs until temp is sometimes 107 and above. error code comes up (OH) but spa does not shut off. When it finally does shut off, error codes stays on even after temp has dropped into 70-80. i hit the pump button and it comes on but does not shut off at designated temp. I have tried resetting, leaving unplugged to help reset. but when plugged back in it just goes and goes until it hits OH.

SOURCE: E04 message on MiniMax NT 400 DV..Help!!

Your EO4 message tells you you have a fan problem. So ether your fan is diying wich you would hear or you have a bad presure sensor in your exaust. A new fan is a little pricey but the sensor is reasonable for heater parts. I can't be sure but I believe it ether screws onto or into your exaust and it just plugs on to your control board. If your sensor is going bad their is a reason and this should be addressed. It should be in your by-pass or your gas pressure. But as far as a new heater, not untill you have water coming from the cabnit. It is sometimes easer to sell new than keep up with new, Good luck let me know how you do.

SOURCE: Dream Maker spa - does my dream maker spa 4 person

Depending upon the age, the Dream Maker has a digital thermostat which is easy to change but to be honest I don't think that is the cause of your problem.

Check the keypad connection on the PCB (circuit board).

t could be either the keypad or PCB at fault and withou trying one or the other you'll not be able to determine the problem. My advise would be for you to contact your local parts supplier and ask them whether or not they can supply you a keypad to try with the option to send it back for a refund if it doesn't cure the problem.

A keypad can be trial fitted to the PCB, just unplug the old one, plug the new one in and turn on the power. There's no need to install the keypad to the spa, therefore you wont damage it in anyway.

If the keypad doesn't cure the problem, change the PCB.

Dream maker spa x-400 won't shut off keeps heating. I have turned it off and let it tottaly cool down the temp max temp is set to 95 and it never shuts off until it gets to 105 and overheats.

I had the same problem last year, I talked to a spa guy and he stated that the temp sensor was probably covered in bio crud. He also stated that the tub should be cleaned with a hot tub flush. After doing that I have not had a problem with the temp settings.

Just filled my dream maker brand new has been filled for a couple of hours but all the temp says is ice do you know what that means

This spa is heated by waste heat from the pump. The manual says it can take up to 20 hours to get to 100F. I assume that is starting from 60F. Keep the cover on and let it run at least a day and you should have 100F+ water temperature.

I bought a home and my coleman spa 400 series has a problem, the jets 1 don't come on, jets 2 do. the water isn't heating up. was wondering what the problem could be

Pump one is the pump that does all the work in your spa. It handles the heating and filtering. If pump one does not work, It will not heat. It is likely pump one is gone but a technician would be needed to determine if it is the pump or the spa pack.

My dream maker hot tub keeps needing to be reset at the plug i have to keep resetting it all the time is there another fuse or something i can do

Your heating element is going to ground and 'leaking' current. The GFCI is picking it up and you will need a new element.
