I have a craftsman lt1000 model 917272761 motor size i 17.5hp. While I was mowing the lawn the tractor died. I have checked the spark,it is sparking. I have also checked the fuel and it is getting fuel. When you turn the engine over the starter does engage the flywheel and both the flywheel and starter turns. any idea

Put a new coil in my craftsman Lt1000 still have

Try leaving the fuel cap loose, its possible you have a blocked fuel cap vent which can be cleaned with compressed air. Also if it still dies, check to see if you have spark while its hot. Also check for correct valve clearances. Hope this helps, regards Phil.
