Is the Amber LED near the power putton on? There is a problem with this series that the Microprocessor Reset Supervisory chip goes bad. On the main PCB (With all the RCA jacks). Top left about 3 inches in from the edge, the part is U26 ASM809 (alternate MAX809M) also can be fixed via 1n914 diode soldered from pins 2 to 3.

Vizio modelE55-E2, 55 inch tv goes black after turned on?

There could be several reasons why your Vizio TV goes black after being turned on, including a malfunctioning power supply, a damaged display panel, or a faulty backlight. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the power supply: Make sure that the TV is properly plugged in and that the power outlet is working. You may also want to try plugging the TV into a different outlet to see if that solves the problem.
  2. Check the display panel: If the TV is getting power but there is no picture, the display panel may be damaged. Look for cracks or other signs of physical damage to the screen. If you find any damage, you may need to replace the display panel.
  3. Check the backlight: The backlight is responsible for illuminating the screen, and if it is faulty, you may experience the symptoms you described. Look for any signs of damage to the backlight, such as flickering or uneven lighting. If the backlight is the problem, you may need to replace it.
  4. Reset the TV: Sometimes resetting the TV to its default settings can solve the problem. To do this, unplug the TV from the power source, wait a few minutes, and then plug it back in.
  5. Contact Vizio customer support: If none of these steps solve the problem, you may want to contact Vizio customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or help you arrange for repairs.

Vizio tv E470VL. Replaced power board and no change. Front vizio light will glow at bottom but tv will not come on. Please help.

Power board isn't the issue. Its the digital board and/or bad panel. As much as I love to repair things, Vizio is one company who isnt worth it. I have seen 14month old TVs with bad panels. The E470VL is a known problem TV. The panel is probably shorted and its keeping the digital board in protection which is keeping the power supply from starting. Its really frustrating. I wish Vizio would stop making such sub-par equipment.

I have a Vizio tv that the logo light is flashing.

SYMPTOM: Blinking VIZIO logo, no power on. Usually after a utility "brown-out.
SOLUTION:
1) Unplug TV power cord. Wait 5 secs and replug.
2) Press and hold TV Power Button for 30 sec.
3) After approximately 1 minute, the VIZIO logo should stop flashing.
4) Press Power Button - TV should power on.
This procedure resets the OS program execution (power spike corrupted the sequence).

While the set is on, pull the power plug. Then hold and depress the power button in for about a minute. Then replug set and turn it back on. If that does not reset the tv then you do indeed have a serious issue with the set.

One of the speakers to Vizio VW46LFHDTV20A stopped

Vizio was earlier know for making budget TVs with high picture quality. Seeing that your TV may be one of their lower-end models (I'm not too sure), it could be a hardware issue. Go to Vizio support for further help.
