Question about Weather King 10AJA2501AH Air Conditioner
My Weather King AC unit buzzes but the fan does not come on. I manually started the blades spinning and they spun strong after that. Unfortunately, the fan is not producing cold air and my house is 90 degrees when I go to sleep. Someone please help! I can see a dead snake in the corner where the motor is but I'm not sure if that means anything. Thanks in advance

To me it sounds like the start capacitor is bad on the unit that starts the fan, thats why when you spin it ,it starts and the compressor which has a hermetic motor in it and sealed which may be bad as well but a tech must come to make some readings on the outside of the compressor where there are terminals on them.

You need a service tech to check out your system. Your compressor may not be starting which could be the reason for the humming noise and no cold air. Dead snake may not be related to your problem.
