You would need 'Nokia PC Suite'in order to get your hand set connected with PC.If you already have then just plug the data cable into phone and the other end to USB port a prompt will appear on your phone screen ,asking for what to do next, then select the option that you like most.
If you've already done that then try connecting any other phone.

Need step by step instructions on how to save contacts to sim on a nokia n95 with a broken screen phone still turns on but cant see anything

Hi, as the LCD screen of the Nokia N95 is broken, I suggest that you use Nokia PC Suite to backup the Contacts to the Computer.

Please download the Nokia PC Suite from the below link:

I have a LG CF360 with a blank screen. Is there a way to access the files to transfer to my new one (through computer) by USB without being able to see the screen? I have photos, videos, and audio I want...

Hi, yes this can all be done with no problems, all you need to do is get the lead that connects your phone to the computer and you will also need a copy of lg pc suite, once you have this installed you will be able to save it all on your computer with no problems.

to get lg pc suite all you need to do is use google and search for lg pc suite, then when you hit search the top one in the list should be the lg site and this would be the safest one to use once you have downloaded this all you need to do is connect your phone to the computer then go into the program lg pc suite and it will then let you transfer everything from your phone onto your computer.

now the problem with your phone is a very common one with all flip and slide phones its also a common problem for laptops, netbooks, portable dvd players basically anything where the screen moves has or will get the problem you are having with your phone.

now the problem is to do with a data ribbon that connects the screen to the circuit board in the bottom half of the phone, this ribbon is really thin and has several single strand copper wires running through now when you keep opening and closing the phone it causes the ribbon and wires to become brittle and they then break giving you the problem you are now getting, the part itself is cheap to buy and cheap to have fitted so if you wanted to keep the phone then that is something that can be done.

you dont need to see the screen to transfer anything from your phone to the computer as long as you have the lead and the lg pc suite then it can be done using the computer and you can then back everything up that way.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

please rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Please help

for this you would need a few things handy before you start off. first move all your data like pictures and songs from the phone memory to the memory card. now you would need to have nokia pc suite installed on your pc and you would need a data cable compatible with your phone. keep your phone in general profile and make sure the battery is full. connect the phone to the computer. the computer would recognise and install the usb drivers for the phone. now open nokia pc suite and configure the phone. next click on backup phone data on the nokia pc suite main screen. now it would backup all your data from the phone like contacts, sms, settings etc onto your computer. next click on software update. the suite would search for the software (note: you need to be connected to the internet) and would turn up with the software for your phone. now the installation would proceed. once it is done, again click on backup and restore the data from pc to phone. the reformat is done!

after this i would advice you to be careful while you recieve data over bluetooth or data cable. accept data only from reliable sources.
hope i was able to resolve your issue. please do give me a good vote.thanks.

I can't tranfer files from my N70 to my pc

Nokia PC Suite does give problems if you delete files, because some files are shared between applications.
The solution, if you haven't deleted anything from your PC.
Disconnect your USB cable.
Start Nokia PC Suite.
Check your version of PC Suite, it should be 6.85.14.1 (or the latest) if it's not, download it from Nokia (where you are, Philippines!)
Click Help/About Nokia PC Suite, at the top of the PC Suite window to see the version.
Then click next to Help, Settings/Manage connections.
Click on both bottom check boxes, USB and Serial.
Click Configure/OK.

Then do a Synchronise.
Click Select phone, and follow the instructions from there. Connect the cable to the USB when prompted and the phone to the cable.
After you've done all that, restart your PC.
Connect your phone to the PC, wait until the icon on the PC turns green, click on the icon to open Nokia PC Suite.
