Check to see if the capstain roller is pressing against the capstain. Sometimes they get stuck or something has broke preventing it from pressing on the tape.

Ok I have an Onkyo HTS8409 Network A / V Home Theater System - 7.1 Channel, and dvd player and want to know how to connect a equalizer technics sh-GE70 but i dont have a cassete deck

Equalizer is connected in between the deck and the reciever. Deck into the input of the equalizer, and the out of the equalizer goes into the tape input on the reciever.

Tape deck A dont work

It could be a lack of motor rotation or a loose belt or a mechanism that need lubrication or any combination of the three. Also power supply can enter in as well as bad solder joints. The unit needs to be looked at by a technician then it will be fixed. I have fixed thousands over the years.

2000 Buick Century. Put in a replacement radio/cd/casset player. Radio works, clock works, but CD and casset do not. The message comes up E 13. What does this e code mean?

if its a radio shack radio, it means E13 means "Tape Communication Error". It is caused by the
microprocessor reading speed pulses from the tape deck either too fast, most other makes mean about the same thing, normally a stuck tape will cause this code to show up, either that or the drive gear that loads and unloads the tape is broken, cracked, or jammed

On jvc tdw11

the line out of a tape deck is about 1 volt peak, the output of a turntable is about 3-5mV on average.
Not sure what issue you are having but the turntable cannot be directly plugged into the cassette deck for recording LP to cassette. it would have to go through the receiver.

TEAC CX-370 Cassete Deck

Could be a worn out belt? The cassette loads it the drive down too much. Hence why it turns with no tape.

VHS tape was playing . After stoping does not play. Other tape will play

The idler wheel (that only drives the tape in play or scan modes) is slipping too much (very common problem). Try verify this by putting the tape in play then immediately press the fast fwd or rewind buttons to scan the tape. On older machines, the idlers used rubber friction tires - on newer ones, a clutch. Either replace the tire or increase the spring tension on the clutch.
