I'm following all of the steps to sorting a list - but when I go back to look at it, it did not sort. Please help!

Enter the data in any order in your list. Press [2nd][Quit] to exit the data editor.
In Main screen, press STAT, select SortA( for ascending or SortD( for descending order.
The command echoes on main screen as SortA(. Press [2nd][1] for L1 or 2nd 2 for L2. Close parenthesis and press ENTER. The L1 list or the L2 list will be sorted.
If the list are linked you must sort them together. In that case the syntax is SortA( L1,L2) ENTER.The list will be sorted according to the order in L1.

In my STAT-Edit, there's only L5, L6, L4 and a blank List.. and my L1, L2, and L3 are missing..i accidentally deleted them...how do i get them back?

Scroll to the blank sport (hit the left/right key a couple times) and then type in the missing list names.
So where the _ _ _ _ _ is hit 2nd then 1 for your L1, 2nd then 2 for your L2 and so on

I don't know why the column L2 on my calculator became L3. How can I make it back to L2?

Your L2 list did not become L3, you just deleted it. To restore a deleted list (NOT ITS CONTENTS), press the [STAT] button, then, press the number to the left of SetUpEditor and finish with the [ENTER] command.

When one of my students went to stat plot, they got an error archive message

Hello,
Press [2nd][MEM][2: Mem Mgmt/Del][1:All] and scroll down to see if a system variable or other entity that is needed for graphing may have been archived. A variable that is archived has an asterisk next to it on the left.
To unarchive it press ENTER when the arrow reaches it.
You may be able to draw your graphs. It you are unable, I suggest you reset the Ram: Press [2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All Ram][2:Reset] [ENTER]. Press [CLEAR] to erase the message and restart the statistics.

Hope it helps.
