Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.

If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.

If your refrigerator is running but warm, then…

Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

I’m struggling with the same issues on my HVTS18DABB. While the troubleshooting steps provided above seem accurate for a vapor cycle system, they are not applicable here. The HVTS18DABB uses heatsink/semiconductor-based thermoelectric Cooling. There is no condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, compressor, etc. Thus, it’s really quiet and fairly reliable as long as the fans keep running. My upper fan seized a few months back.
As soon as I swapped it out, it was back to normal, but now I’m having problems with the replacement fan.

If one or both of your fans aren’t spinning and you have about 12 volts DC at the connectors (easily checked with a volt meter on the modular terminals at the upper circuit board), then your fans are probably the issue. The OEM part is a 120mm Yates Loon Electric D12SL-12 brushless 12VDC 0.30 amp fan. Any fan that fits its specs should work, but, again, I’m having issues with my aftermarket one so your mileage may vary.

If you don’t have 12 volts at the fan connectors, check for 12 VDC at the supply connectors at the connectors the run from the lower boards. Note that the upper and lower zones, through they sit on the same board, have their own supplies from independent lower boards.

Note that there are a lot of exposed conductors in the back of this unit and it’s really easy to get wacked when stabbing around while the main power is connected. Please employ all standard safety measures and caution, particularly while troubleshooting with the mains energized.

How can I bypass the OEM internal engine oil cooler with an external aftermarket oil cooler on a 2001 Saturn L300 3.0LV6?

Can you pipe the hot oil out to the after-market cooler, let it work, and pipe the cooled oil back in? You're not giving the internal cooler any "work" to do, but who cares, since the goal is to cool the oil.

Not colling

Check the back to see if the compressor is running or just really hot. If it is not running it could be a thermostat issue, but if it is hot and not running, that means your compressor has problems and will need to be replaced.

Cool air coming from the vents in the front but hot air coming from the back. What do I do to stop the hot air so that the room will cool down?

Hi,
The hot air is a product of the cooling.... if you stop that then the unit will not cool!!!
You need to buy an exhaust kit to vent the hot air outside so that it will cool the room.
Otherwise it is just what is called a spot cooler or in other words you are cool if you sit in front of it, but it actually will make the overall room temp. hotter!!

Lot of background weering noise and gets very hot very slow loadingl and losconnection on regular basis

The cooler is full of dirt so the air can't flow so the pc overheats so the fan is constantly running at maximum speed making that noise.
Clean the cooler using a can of compressed air and put you laptop on a cooling pad like

Wii keeps shutting down

First, I would advise you to not power up the console if it's getting hot. When the console is running, can you see the small fan on the back spinning? If not, you can probably buy an external cooling fan like this one.

This will act as a surrogate cooler to replace the original fan, and should allow the console to stay cool enough to remain on.
