nothing was beeing cooked when the power outage happened. also this is a gas oven and it is very difficult to get out to unplug the unit. the gas has to be disconnected in order to pull the unit out to access the plug.

does the power cord have to be disconnected or can i just turn off the breaker and let sit for a few minutes? then hit the cancel buttons and reset breaker.

HI,
When the power outage happened was there anything being cooked in the oven. Please disconnect the power cord coming from the oven to the wall socket and press the cancel button a couple of times. reconnect the cable and check. the oven should come on if its minor conflict , otherwise it would require more troubleshooting

    Hi,
Thanks for letting me know, but the oven needs a reset and that can only be done by disconnecting the power plug. As you are not getting any of the error codes on the display. I would suggest to call on an repair guy to do the job.
You can locate the authorized Amana service guy from the Link below . Just enter your zipcode for the same.

    Hi,
You can cut breaker switch and let it sit for 10 mins. You can definitely try the same.

My Westinghouse 668 wall oven won't allow me to set the time. We had a power outage and I have checked the power and it's fine now. But the display flashes between 0:00 and auto and I can't hold the two...

Does the rest of the oven work ok? Did the timer work OK before the outage? Is the oven under warranty? Was the power outage at your home only? Check with the manual to see if it addresses your problem, there may be a way to reset the system and then I would say that you would need to contact Westinghouse and explain the situation.

Wolf ovens getting err message after power outage

I had a Wolf 30F wall oven with a similar problem
after power outage. It wouldnt stop beeping with error message related
to temperature control. My solution was to turn power of at circuit
panel, then reset by pressing and holding the clear button for 5
seconds.

Also note: in my case I had to close the display
before switching the panel off. When I tried to the reset process with
the panel showing, it wouldn\'t reset.

To reset other
various parts of the control panel Instructions said:

Time-of-Day Clock

Immediately after the oven is installed, set
the 12-hour clock to the current time of day. It may need to be reset
after a prolonged power failure. The clock is visible on the control
panel during all modes. If the upper oven timer is set, the clock will
not be visible in the upper oven control panel display.

SETTING CLOCK

1) Touch CLOCK.

2) Touch number pads to
set current time of day.

3) Touch CLOCK or ENTER to start
clock.

24-HOUR CLOCK

The time-of-day clock can be
changed from a 12-hour clock to a 24-hour clock. After the clock has
been set, touch TEMPERATURE for three seconds, touch CLOCK, and then
touch ENTER. Follow the same sequence to change back to the standard
12-hour clock setting.

Fahrenheit to Celsius

The
oven can be changed from Fahrenheit (°F) temperature to Celsius
(°C).

Oven won't turn on, had a power outage on the street 3 times today. Tried flipping the fuse, but nothing has happened. Any suggestions? Not sure which model Zanussi it is, except it is not brand new!!

The electronic clock/timer must be in manual mode for the oven to operate. When the power to the oven is cut the electronic clock/timer reverts to automatic mode when the power comes back on.

All the lights, display, etc. work on the oven but no heat

First and foremost check the breaker box. Ovens use 240 volts which is a double breaker in the box. Just to be safe I would click both breakers off and then back on together. If this doesnt work turn off the power and have someone help you pull the oven out and check your plug or connection. You may be dealing with a broken wire in the junction box due to the power outage. If you have a volt meter turn the power on SAFETLY and test if your getting 240 volts. If the connections are good (including the one from the juction box to the stove itself) and you are getting proper votage, unfortunatley you are going to have to get a new control. What happens is with only 120 volts going to the oven everything runs but your elements (they utilize the 240 volts to heat). You can tell time or use the timer but without your full 240 your turkey aint gonna cook. There is 120 volts coming coming from each of those breakers you checked in the garage. Bottom line is the chances of both elements going out at the same time are slim to none and I feel you are probably dealing with a broken wire.

Power outage issue

You unit is stuck in the "Display Model Mode". Hold the stop/clear button for at lest five seconds in insure the interlock activates. If it does not activate then the electronic range control (erc) is not functioning. Replace the erc (Clock/Display.)

Oven display problem

F5-E1 is a fault code denoting a failed door lock/latch mechanism. Before having it replaced, go outside to you main breaker box and turn the power off to it for a couple of minutes... try to reset the controller. If the fault code appears again, the door lock/latch mechanism needs to be replaced.
