the toaster switch will not stay depressed on the unit- Broiler section does work-

Bought it on internet and seller indicated that it worked prior to shipping-

You press the button in but it will not stay in- can it be fixed or is it history

-   Having same problem-switch will not stay engaged. Oven and roiler work fine. Bought new from "local dealer" said it worked and it did for about a month. -   Guest

I don't know if you can fix it but if you are good at basic diagnosis you can take off the right side and see if the toast latch is broken or perhaps out of place. This type of unit is not so easy to take apart and put back together. The parts fit is a bit strange.
