Question about Computers & Internet
Open System Restore and restore the computer back to a time before this happened. If that does not solve the problem open System restore and turn System Restore off. This will remove all restore points where the virus may be hiding. Next, open Time Scan once you open Avast and click Scan Computer on the left under Scan Now. Restart the computer and it will run the boot time scan which is similar to running a scan in Safe Mode. Remove all it finds. Restart the computer again in Safe Mode and run any other security software you have installed. Restart again and go here and run a full scan. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ After you get the computer clean install this free program to help warn you of malicious web sites. it is Web of Trust (WOT) and if you heed their warnings it will help protect you. http://www.mywot.com/
