Remove the toner/drum combination unit. Now remove the toner cartridge from the drum unit. From your description, the label is stuck onto the surface of the drum. You should be able to see it on the drum cylinder surface. You may have to rotate the drum to get the whole label off. Clean any remaining label adhesive from the drum surface with a bit of glass cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth. Then dry the area, re-install the toner and then the toner/drum assembly into the machine and test. Hopefully you can accomplish this without damaging the drum unit. If not you may have to replace the drum unit with a new one.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Can print from computer but page comes out blank when trying to copy a document placed on the glass

In order to copy a document correctly, the document must be facing down onto the glass (text or images facing down), and oriented so that the (typically) top-right corner matches with the triangle next to the glass. Close the lid, then press 'Resume' or one of the buttons labeled 'Start Copy'. This should allow the printer to correctly copy the document.
Thank you for using FixYa! If you require additional assistance, feel free to reply to this solution, and I'll be glad to help you further.

How do you make a copy of something?

Place the document you want copied into the feed tray on top of the printer. Push the "Copy' button on the front panel (next to Scan and Photo).
If it's a black and white document (text), push the Start Copy button labelled as Black If it's a color document, push the Start Copy button labelled as color.
Hope this helps! If it did, feel free to rate me. Thanks for using FixYa.

Microsft Word is probably not only the best but if not the only solution. Test print a label or two, at a time and then a sheet, at a time. Attempting to print muliple sheets from a file associated with a different, standard, printer may not line up well enough to print pages and pages, unattended.

What you see between these ---> < - > <---- Brackets are actions for you to perform.

You'll may wish to choose a Microsft Word Template, you can do that by opening Microsoft Word, <Help>, <Tempates> or (if you cannot find templates) via: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/ select a label from your file and pick the number from the list that corresponds with the label on the box of labels. Please forgive the ambiguity, I'm working blind without knowing your Operating System or your version of Word, what printer, etc... This is general enough for most systems.

Here's the order:
  1. Click <Tools>, <Letters and Mailings>, Click <Envelopes and Labels>.
  2. Click the <Labels> tab, and Click <Options>.
  3. First choose the printer you want to use and next the label supplier number from the box sheets that you'll print your labels on.
  4. Click <Product Number>, scroll to the corresponding number from the label box. click Ok
  5. Click <Envelopes and Labels>, Click <New Document> and a label document will open.
  6. Type data onto the labels you choose to use, Avery number work well with Word .
  7. Click <File>, Click <Print>.
Now, you could try to make a copy of your label list, to experiment with, but it's probably best that you re-type the labels into each of the boxes while reading from your label program; until your PC is returned

Check the settings of the printer. In the mean time, copy all the printable files to a new folder for safety reasons. Copy them and NOT move them. meaning you have a backup till you sort the problem out.

Something stuck in print cartridge

if the label came off on the drum then no, the drum is the blue or green roller that is protected by the plastic flap. A quick easy way to tell is that there should be 3 or 4 marks on the page, evenly spaced, this will indicate something stuck on the drum. The only repair is to replace it, because of the highly sensitive material that it is made of.

How to make labels from EXCEL list?

Hi-

Im not really familiar how to make label on Excel but you can try this steps that works on words:

Please follow the steps below to print Business Cards or Labels in Microsoft Word.

10) Type in all the information you need on one label.
11) Once the label is completed, highlight that whole label.
12) Click on EDIT, COPY.
13) Click on the next label.

This is where I get stuck in trying to make Labels in Microsoft Works

Create a mail merge label with the Address Book
On the File menu, click New.
In the Works Task Launcher, click Templates.
In the Letters and Labels category, click Mailing labels.
Click Use this style.
In the Labels dialog box, click Mailing labels.
Click OK.
The Label Settings dialog box appears.
Under Printer Information, click the option for the printer you are using.
Under Label Information, select the label product and style.

If you're seeing 30 of the same label, try adding <<Next Record>> to the beginning of each label (including the < > characters as shown). If you need more help please simply reply to this by posting comments, and I'll be notifited right much faster than happening across a request for help by chance; the system will send me an e-mail to make me aware of your comments.

Hope this will FixYa!!!

Thanks,

Aimiel
