Cd player cutting out when volume is high

I have recently moved my jvc stereo into a triumph spitfire and the whole stereo resets when the volume goes above a certain point, (varies from 14-18) any ideas?

- Power to radio is still on, but no sound from speakers. Reset or removing and installing helps sometimes. Next bump it dies...- bodillaSolution #1
