Hello, take this link to HP Drivers & Software Downloads Support Website. Choose the Automatic Scan Option and I recommend that you Download/Install any/all Current Updates for Your Laptop.

I purchased a SBG901 and have connected 2 MAC pc's wireless - 1 HP printer and 1 Compag laptop, I have one more pc which is running Vista on a HP Pavilion dv5 and visited the HP website to update

It might not be anything your doing wrong, the wireless portion of the card may have just gone bad. you could check this out by reconnecting your old router back up to verify it works or doesn't. If it doesn't work your wireless in your laptop went bad presuming that the wireless was not deactivated on the laptop. if it does work the Vista Driver may be incompatible with the new router, you may be able to hook up both routers at the same time which would allow you to keep using your HP system.

I cannot get my laptop with vista 64 to access the print server. is there a fix for this?

Most older printers are not compatible with the new VISTA program. I have a $350 printer which can not be used although a cheap $30 printer that is 8 years old will work with VISTA. I was glad I save the old one

Linksys Wireless B Router Compatible with Windows Vista?

I would advise you to purchase a Linksys G router, Model # WRT54G2. Works well with Vista and your other laptops will work also.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know.
If this solves your issue, please be kind to rate it.
Thanks, Joe

HP laptop not recognizing Linksys Wireless B Security Key..

The WEP encryption is consist of 10 characters for 64 bit hex, 128 bit hex is 24 characters and WPA is 8 to 63 characters. So it seems that you have a vista computer? The compatible encryption for vista is WPA, sometime using WEP it is not working properly. So I might advise you to access the configuration of your router (192.168.1.1) and change the wireless settings of your router to WPA-Personal.

There are a few ways you can use wireless to get the laptop online. The easiest way would to buy 1. Wireless Router and 2. Wireless USB Adapter. Follow link for some pretty good instructions to setup a home wireless network.
