I looked up your current router - there seems to be no way to configure Access Controls by IP or Mac Address
I have a D-Link DIR-655 that allows Access Control Policies to be created with a Mac Address or IP.

You can also choose a Schedule for the Access Policy, in fact, you must create the Schedule first.

Here's a link to D-Link's Emulator for that router - Schedules are in the Tools tab; Access Controls are under Advanced.

http://support.dlink.com/emulators/dir655/133NA/login.html

The DIR-655 is a great upgrade for an N router by the way - I've bought at least 7 over the last 2 years for clients.

Stay away from the DIR-615 though - not as reliable.

I don't know of any wireless routers that you can set up a timed access.
What you can do is connect each wireless router to an timer that will switch on each wireless router at the times you require.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Default access

You didn't supply the Model of NetGear device. Push and hold the reset button for 30 seconds or so, release. This will reset to default settings. Reconfigure the SSID and Security settings. How to Access Netgear Wireless Router Settings
Netgear wireless router settings must be changed using the router's web-based interface. Any computer on the network can be used to access it. From the Settings menu, options such as "Encryption," "Network setup details" and "Passwords" can be customized.

There are a few different variations of login credentials. Though these steps will use the details that work for the most common router models, the alternate login details that other models of Netgear wireless routers use will also be included.

Things You'll Need
Computer connected to the network
1 Open any web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. In the address bar, enter "192.168.0.1" (without the quotes) and press the enter key. This will bring up the login prompt for most Netgear wireless routers. If that doesn't work, try "www.routerlogin.net", "192.168.0.5", or "10.1.10.1" until the login window appears.
2 Enter the username "admin" (again, without the quotes), and the password "password" in the appropriate fields, then click OK to login. If that password fails, try "1234," "Password" (with a capital "P"), or "admin" until you are greeted with the settings screen.
3 Make any required changes to the settings. Under security, it is possible to specify a new username and password for added security. Once you are done, close the window, and the system will automatically log you out.

Tips & Warnings
Always secure a wireless network to prevent outsiders from being able to change your network settings.

CAN'T CONNECT TO NET BOOK WIRELESS BUT HARD WIRE PC WORKS

Try RESETTING the Netgear router and configure it again.
To RESET the Netgear, power up the Netgear then press andhold the RESET button at the back of the router until all the LEDs flash. Connect a LAN cable from the Netgear to the LAN port on yourcomputer, open a browser and enter the Netgear configuration URL -
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = password You can now change the admin password and configure thewireless settings.
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2encryption.
Apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

I have a Dynex router model 10/100m router. I hooked up a netgear Prosafe Wireless Access Point model wg302. I have wireless internet connection but I am unable to "secure" the line. I have...

Any wireless security settings are going to be accessed from the netgear. When you chain one device to another, you need to know what the IP address the access point is assigned in order to log into its web interface. the wireless options will be missing if you just simply log into the Dynex web interface. To figure out the APs address, you may have to manually configure it to keep it simple.

The Host (wired) computer is running windows 7. The wireless computers, using Vista, cannot access host.

The NetGear WNDR3400 N600 Wireless Dual takes security very serius and therefore u should read the manual very carefully, giving attention to the pages about the different forms of connections to the router with the different forms of security.
U can access the router as it is described in the amnual, or if not U have to reset and re-initialize all connections with evtually new security settings.
U know, even a router is only a simple com-device, which sometimes hangs and needs to be re-setted.

Good luck
