Remove all batteries then press any button on the keypad 3 times.Wait 10 seconds then replace batteries. You should hear a long beep followed by a short beep then press and hold the 0 button for 3 seconds. Red LED should flash 3 times and you should hear 3 long beeps. Now release the 0 button. Now enter new Master code (4-12 digits) followed by the LOCK button. You only have 15 secs to do this. LED should flash green once followed by a melody tone. Good luck

I have a Rona keyless lock with two fob remotes which I cannot get to work. The master lock works fine. There also is reference to step 14.2 in the instructions but there is none in the booklet with that...

I've located a number that you can call for RONA customer service:

1-866-283-2239
8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Eastern Time)
Monday to Friday

I believe this is the link to RONA where you find your lock featured for sale:

Unfortunately, there is no downloadable instruction manual to download, ETC., so call the number and begin the process--I hope you get an answer without too much telephone runaround!

Good luck!--and please give feedback if this helps you toward a solution.

I don't have a manual for my 2004 lincoln Avaitor but would like to know how I can change the code on the drives door key pad

KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM With the keyless entry keypad, you can: • lock or unlock the vehicle doors without using the key. Your vehicle has a factory set 5 digit code that operates the keyless entry system. You can also program your own 5 digit personal entry code. The factory-set code is located: • on the owner's wallet card in the glove compartment • or at your dealer. When pressing the controls on the keyless entry keypad, press the middle of the controls to ensure a good activation. This system will disable the power door lock controls. These will not work until the vehicle is disarmed. Programming your own personal entry code To program your own code: 5. Enter factory set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed). 6. Press 1/2 control within five seconds of step 1. 7. Enter your personal 5 digit code. Enter each digit within five seconds of previous one. 8. After the code is entered, the locks will cycle, confirming that the new code has been set. Do not set a code that includes five of the same number or presents them in sequential order. Thieves can easily figure out these types of codes. Your personal code does not replace the permanent code that the dealership gave you. You can use either code to unlock your vehicle. If a second personal code is entered, the module will erase the first personal code in favor of the new code. Locks and Security 149 Locks and Security If you wish to erase your personal code, use the following instructions: 1. Enter factory set code. 2. Press 1/2 control and release. The system will now only respond to the factory set code. Anti-scan feature The anti-scan feature prevents repeated attempts at arriving at a valid key code. The keyless entry pad is disabled for 1 minute after 7 unsuccessful attempts (35 consecutive button presses) at entering a valid key code. The keypad will flash during this 1 minute mode. However, the 7/8 and 9/0 controls will still lock the vehicle. Anti-scan will be turned off after: • one minute of keypad inactivity. • the remote entry transmitter UNLOCK button is pressed. • the ignition is turned to the ON position. Unlocking the doors with the keyless entry system To unlock the driver door, enter either the factory set code or the personal code (each digit must be pressed within five seconds of the prior digit). How do i reprogram keyless entry codes

door pad keyless codes?

in owner manual, enter permanent code and then press "1" and enter personal code, then press "1" again. Then both codes will work.

---------------------------------------------
Each vehicle equipped with a keyless entry keypad is programmed with a five-digit entry code. This code is provided to the customer through a wallet card in the Owner Literature package. In addition, this code is available through a diagnostic tool and is also printed on the vehicle security module label. When entering codes each digit must be entered within five seconds of the previous button press.
Programming/Erasing Personal Code
A unique personal five-digit code can be programmed by following these steps:
  1. Enter the factory set five-digit code (the keypad will illuminate when pressed).
  1. Press 1/2 within five seconds of Step 1.
  1. Enter the unique five-digit code.
The personal code does not substitute for the permanent factory set code. Either code can be used to access the vehicle. In addition, if a second personal code is programmed, it will simply overwrite the previous personal code. To erase a personal code, carry out the following procedure:
  1. Enter factory set five-digit code.
  1. Press 1/2 within five seconds of Step 1.
  1. Press 7/8 and 9/0 at the same time within five seconds of Step 2.
The system will now only respond to the factory set code.
Anti-Scan Feature
To provide added security, the keyless entry pad is disabled for one minute after 35 button presses without a valid entry code being entered. The keypad will flash during this one-minute mode with all functionality disabled except for 7/8 and 9/0 still being allowed to lock the vehicle.
Anti-Scan will be turned off after any of the following events:
  • one minute of keypad inactivity
  • the keyless entry remote transmitter UNLOCK button is pressed
  • the ignition is turned to the ON position.
Unlocking the Doors with the Keyless Entry Keypad System
To unlock the driver door, enter either the factory set code or the personal code (each digit must be pressed within five seconds of the prior digit). The interior lamps will illuminate.
To unlock all doors, enter either the factory set code or the personal code (driver door unlocks) and press the 3/4 control within five seconds.
Locking the Doors with the Keyless Entry Keypad System
It is not necessary to enter the factory set or personal code prior to locking all doors. To lock all doors, press the 7/8 and 9/0 controls at the same time.
Inspection and Verification
  1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.
  1. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

How to reset the keypad on my 2004 navigator

You must have the original code to change it, if u do here is how you do it.
KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM
With the keyless entry keypad, you can:
• lock or unlock the vehicle doors without using the key,
• release the liftgate glass,
• enable or disable the autolock function, and
• add or delete a 5–digit personal user code.
Your vehicle has a factory set 5–digit code that operates the keyless
entry system. You can also program your own 5–digit personal entry
code. The factory-set code is located:
• on the owner’s wallet card in the glove compartment,
• at your dealer,
• or on the module located under
the right-hand side of the
instrument panel, adjacent to the
passenger compartment fuse
panel.
Note: The 5–digit code (e.g. 12345)
will be in large, BOLD numbers on
the module label.
When pressing the controls on the keyless entry keypad, press the
middle of the controls to ensure a good activation.
Programming your own personal entry code
To program your own code:
6. Enter the factory set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed).
7. Press the 1 • 2 control within five seconds of Step 1.
8. Enter your personal 5–digit code.
Enter each digit within five seconds
of previous one.
9. After the code is entered, the
locks will cycle, confirming that the
new code has been set.
Do not set a code that includes five of the same number or presents
them in sequential order. Thieves can easily figure out these types of
codes.
Your personal code does not replace the permanent code that the
dealership gave you. You can use either code to unlock your vehicle. If a
second personal code is entered, the module will erase the first personal
code in favor of the new code.
If you wish to erase your personal code, use the following instructions:
1. Enter the factory set code.
2. Press the 1 • 2 control and release.
The system will now only respond to the factory set code.
