Hi,
I guess that I would be wondering if you are vacuuming and charging the unit correctly....it would seem that maybe the unit has an incorrect charge...
have you vacuumed the entire unit and carefully weighed in the charge???

Gas leak is due to loose valve or cracked gas pipe.Check out both. Also reconnect the settings as follows:-- Connect each assembly pipe to the appropriate valve on the outdoor unit and tighten the flare nut. Connect the charging hose of low pressure side of manifold gauge to the packed valve having a service port. Open the valve of the low pressure side of manifold gauge counter-clockwise. Purge the air from the system using vacuum pump for about 20 minutes. – Make sure that pressure gauge show -14.5psi(-0.1MPa, -76cmHg) after about 20 minutes. – This procedure is very important in order to avoid gas leak. – Turn off the vacuum pump. – Close the valve of the low pressure side of manifold gauge clockwise. – Remove the hose of the low pressure side of manifold gauge. Set valve cork of both liquid side and gas side of packed valve to the open position. Mount the valve stem nuts and the service port cap to the valve, and tighten them at the torque of 183kgf•cm with a torque wrench. Check for gas leakage. - At this time, especially check for gas leakage from the 3 way valve’s stem nuts, and from the service port cap. --------------- For the manual of the unit.please click this link for more troubleshooting http://www.acwholesalers.com/v/vspfiles/assets/images/samsung%20aqv09%20aqv12%20service%20manual.pdf Thanks. If there is no gas leak and pressures are fine then the gas valve voltage needs to be checked. Its sending wrong command to the computer control board so its showing gas leak.Check the voltage at the gas valve and its connections. Also unplug the unit from power for few hours then reconnect and recheck. If same error comes up.Check from any blockages in drain line and drain pump too.

Thanks for keeping updated with your query.

What is the meaning of fault code. error 02. abnormal on my hitachi remote control for cooling unit rpc 5aq5-p

Indoor/outdoor safety device activated. If your unit stops within 5 seconds, indoor coil sensor defective or short of gas/leak. If your indoor works and but out door unit works for just 5minutes and stops means outdoor coil sensor defective or short of gas or leak. find by amps. If less amps than mentioned, is gas leak/short of gas.

Evaporator unit turns on for about 15 seconds then turns off

Out of range thermistor can cause the tripping of indoor or outdoor unit. Try to check the resistance of your thermistor it should be 8 to 10 kilo ohms at 25 deg. c temp.
