2002 venture heater fuse blowing out

You may have a bad resistor or blower motor, a quick test would be to remove the connector from the blower and then turn key on and turn controls to all blower speeds and if the fuse blows then resistor is bad, if the fuse does not blow then reconnect the blower and try the settings again and if fuse blow then blower is bad. good day

A/C and Heater Problem

Well, you eliminated the resistor,so it probably means the blower motor has shorted out.Either that or something has gotten into the blower wheel and jammed it. If you can bypass the resistor and just put 12 volts into the motor,do it.But don't hold it long,as a direct short can cause a fire without a fuse to blow for safety.
In other words, prepare to buy a new heater blower motor. don-ohio

In my 1994 1500 Chevy pickup the heater blower will not work. Need to troubleshoot.

There is not enough information to answer you question effectively. Is your heater blowing cold air or is your blower motor not working? A tell-tale sign of vehicle blowing cold air is bad thermostat. Also, check your fuses under the dash first and fuse relays under the hood before proceeding with the thermostat change. A worst case scenario could be your heating/cooling controls have malfunctioned.

Heater blowing slightly warm air, but certainly not hot enough for pa winters. what should i try to fix first?

You may have to replace your heater core . Heater cores are kinda like you outside ac unit and if you stand by it you can feel all the hotter air blowing from it to the cooler atomosphere!!!! So basicly your heater core are alumminum fins that your blower pushes recycled heated motor air through', and into the cab . Maybe the blower is weak . Check your fuses and hoses!!!!

Fuse keeps blowing on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Your fan seems to be drawing way too much current, common with fan motors of all kinds when they are going bad. It will still blow, but hot wires and blown fuses in the normal circuit indicate you have an excessive load in the circuit. Fan motors create this condition regularly, but are often ignored since they are "still blowing."

Here's a cheap, easy way to test my theory:
Try a new fuse, the proper amperage, but leave the blower motor unplugged at the blower itself. That will tell you in a few rides if the blower was the culprit. (Which it most likely is.) I bet your #20 fuse will stop blowing and no more smoking pink wires! Hope this helps. Remember, blower motors are cheap, traffic tickets and dash fires are not. The blower motor draw is the logical thing wrong with this picture. Good LUCK! TT

Blown thermal fuses

I would think not. The MAIN cause of that fuse blowing is lint build up. Turn the dryer on and put your hand on the outside of the vent duct. Is the air blowing hard? If so, you will probaly be ok, if not maybe your blower wheel needs to be replaced...
