In order to best provide guidance for this repair, some additional information is required. For example, are the 4 channels 4 consecutive channels or are they somewhat random? Please post the actual channels that are having problems. Also, does the remainder of the mixer appear to function correctly?

Please note that the majoriity of the components for this unit are surface mounted which require specialized equipment adn techniques for replacement. The parts are readily available from Mackie and generically.

I await your update so I can provide additional details.

Thanks,
Dan

Some tracks won't playback on R16, but are fine on my PC.

That would be because of the codec that this "Track" is encoded in.

Download an user friendly application like "Media info" to check the codec for the working and for the non working, then search for a converter to convert the non working track to the same format as the working one.

I'd say the click track starts from exactly when you hit play even if you've hit play not right on the beat. There might be a setting or preference that can fix this.

Try rewinding back to be right on the beat and see if it syncs with the click

How multitrack recording works is assigning each recording to a different track. A way around this is to record the vocals to track one, then your harmony to track two. Save that as a single recording, or mixdown, then open that saved mixdown to track one. You may need to be connected to a computer to do this.

I use the same technique when using Cool Edit Pro (outdated, yes, but I've been using it for 4 years, and I know most of the ins and outs), especially on the guitar tracks, where for studio sound, you've gotta use 4 total tracks. Putting two tracks together frees up your processor, and uses less in the way of effects, as well.

Hope that helps!

What are the exact steps to bounce tracks on the Boss Micro BR

It’s necessary to bounce all of your tracks to a stereo pair of tracks before you can export your song to a computer as a WAV or MP3 file for burning onto a CD.
1. In normal mode, push EXIT and UTILITY until you see BOUNCE on the display.
Note: The upper right corner of the display shows the track you’re bouncing to. By default, “12V2”—Tracks 1 and 2, Virtual Track 2—is selected.
2. Press STOP and REWIND together to go back to the beginning of the song.
3. Press RECORD, and then press PLAY.
4.When the song’s finished playing, press STOP.
i read some stuff online and this should help.

Boss micro br not converting all the tracks in the song to MP3

You have to "mix" the tracks to create a final work before saving the file.
