I have zenith director model- z8081 purchased 5 years back, i want to replace the battery, a battery life which lasts atleast for 3-4 hrs

It depends on the manufacturing battery life time. Generally they are 3 to 5 years or 5 to 7 years or 8-10 years. Nevertheless due to high cost of batteries most client opt for use 3 to 5 year life time. A simple internet search will give you the specification and from there you can decide what to do. If it is 3 to 5 years life time it is advisable to change the whole set. Otherwise you can replace the 3 batteries as a temporary solution. However it is most likely that after 3 to 6 months you will have some other bad cells.

Go to teh phone settings, and under sync accounts disable all teh sync accounts that you are not using such as stocks etc. These constantly use up data and hence drains your battery as they do so in teh background. Same thing happened on mine, you need to replace the bulb, on our TV I have 2 kids so the TV was always on but lasted 2 and a half years which impressed the warranty people. From what I have heard the average life is about 2 years. I have the same SXRD TV.
