Question about Haier HPAC99ER Air Conditioner
I have not had this haier 7,000 btu portable a/c for very long, and already the remote does not work 90% of the times i try to go use it. Is there any other way to control this unit, or is there something i can do to make this unit more responsive to the remote? I can like spam the buttons and sometimes one will work
I think I am out of warranty now though, so i dont know what I should do

I bought the 9,000 btu and the remote stopped working the second time I used it. I returned it and bought the 7,000 btu and the exact same thing happened; it died the second time I used it. The only thing I noticed, not sure why, but if I take the batteries out of the remote for a while and put them back in, it works. Not being able to control it without the remote is definitely a design flaw.
