Question about Computers & Internet
Facebook is not installed in your Computers (Desktop or Laptop). It is Online Application. You only get spam etc if you visit it. Make sure you have a good and protected Browsers. Windows Explorer (IE) or the Big Blue E in your computer is a Browser that reads FACEBOOK sites. So if your Browsers is not on high Security Level that it does not monitor websites that are infected or websites that intend to take information from your surfing activity, then you are in trouble. LIke Pop ups and pop ins or unexpected Tabs and Menus appearing on your page, asking you to download etc. Some use Firefox, Safari Browsers or Linux Browsers to secure their page. Windows 7 has a new capability of making you surfing Safe and Protected. It asks you if you want Private Surfing, meaning no one will catch your cookies (footsteps) while surfing their sites. They cannot put cookies into your computer telling them that you have visited their sites. So fare Facebook is safe if you know how to use the Setting, and Policy of Security for your friends and the World.
