Question about LG VX9400 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Phone will not turn on.

My LG VX9400 will not turn on at all, even when plugged in to a charger. I've only had it for a few weeks.

I had been talking on it for about 5 minutes, when it just died.

My phone did that too. To my knowledge I did nothing to damage it, it just turned off.

When I press the end button it looks as if its going to turn on but right as if says Verizon Wireless on the screen it goes black. I have put it on the charger but it just freaks out and does that a whole bunch of times. I've had this phone since christmas and its had no water damage, hard falls, or anything else like that. It has happened before but it always turns back on in a few minutes. Its been hours now.

I haven't dropped my phone, gotten water on it, or anything else. I have tried putting it on the charger. After about 15-25 minutes it will start charging but as soon as I take it off the charger it shuts down and will not come on! I have only had this phone for just a few days over a month but it has been doing this since just before I had it for a month. WHAT DO I DO?!?!

Yuo both have firmware problems. you need to taske your phone for flashing, where it can be flashed with new firmware and it will be as good as new. it is not advisable to do this on your own, so take it to any phone service center.

Not charging Acer Aspire 5732z, now won't turn on!

If it does not work with the Charger while the battery is out then I would say either your charger is bad, the dc power jack where the charger plugs into the laptop is bad or you've got motherboard issues. Does the charger have a light on it to indicate that it is on when plugged in the wall? Do you see any lights when you plug the charger into the laptop?

Take an ink pen and see if the little pin inside the computer where the charger plugs is loose and moves a bit. If so that is probably your problem. If the pin is tight and the charger works, then you've got motherboard issues.

My LG VX9400 phone wont charge when the battery completely dies if i plug it in it just flashes the verizon sign a few times then turns completely off

Hello.

If your phone is under warranty (usually 1 year), contact Verizon for a replacement.

If your phone is out of warranty, I would suggest to replace the battery. There are many places online

Hope this helps.

I dropped my phone in the toilet

When something like this happens, you need to take the battery out and let it dry for a few DAYS. Unfortunately you started it charging - the battery was probably not dry inside and you likely shorted it out. Try using someone else's battery to make sure it's not the phone, if the phone turns on you may just need to purchase a new battery. If even with a foreign batter the phone still doesn't work you'll likely have to buy a new phone. Sorry!

VX9400 problem

I had the same issue, but knowing some things about computers, I took the battery out for about 3 minutes or so to let the phone lose any charge it had. Then I put the battery back in, held the send button in for a minute then pushed the power button and it turned back on fine.
