yes... i have one currently and my okay button only works when it wants to which really sucks. I love verizon but hate alot of their phones this is my second one of these in one year. mine hasnt cracked but the okay button has to be pressed really hard to work.
When something like this happens, you need to take the battery out and let it dry for a few DAYS. Unfortunately you started it charging - the battery was probably not dry inside and you likely shorted it out. Try using someone else's battery to make sure it's not the phone, if the phone turns on you may just need to purchase a new battery. If even with a foreign batter the phone still doesn't work you'll likely have to buy a new phone. Sorry!
I had the same issue, but knowing some things about computers, I took the battery out for about 3 minutes or so to let the phone lose any charge it had. Then I put the battery back in, held the send button in for a minute then pushed the power button and it turned back on fine.
