Hello

This is a paper feed problem caused by paper jam..

Switch off the printer and disconnect the power supply. Allow any residual charge to fade away before putting your hands on the metal tools inside the chassis.

Pin down the exact location of the jam. The three hot spots for a jam are before a sheet completely leaves the paper tray, between the feed tray and the print carriage or between the print carriage and the output tray.

Take off the front paper tray. If the sheet jammed around here, you should be able to see most of the paper.

Pull on the sheet with both hands and steady pressure. Don't tug too quickly. You might rip the paper, leaving a chunk of it deeper in the machine.

Open the back panel to reach paper jammed between the feed tray area and the print carriage of the printer. Carefully remove the jammed paper from the machine.

Use the carriage access door to get at a jam further inside. You may need to move the print carriage out of your way to get at the jam.

Return any access panels to their closed and locked positions. Plug your printer back in and flip the power switch.

Check the paper path for any obstructions, and clear if found. Also, inspect the other parts that the paper travels through, to ensure that they are not dirty or gummy. If any dirt or other debris is found, clean the parts and try again.

My canon ip1000 printer show error "print head not available". but head already fix in place

The print head may not be proper electrical connection. Remove the print head and clean the electrical contacts on the ink cartridge and in the printer with methylated spirits, replace the print head and hopefully this will fix the problem.

I am a Reseller and one of my client is having Citizen CLP-7202e. due to the faulty print head we have tried to change the print head and after changing a new print head, printer is not printing...

I have used this type of printer before. Long ago when it was called the C-ITOH. However, never had to change the print head before. I would imagine that if you did - all the adjustments would need changing. Bad Gap would skip labels and bad pressure would make them too light or too dark. If there are any vertical lines (even faint) the print head is damaged. Also, these things are very specific as to media vs ink roller. You cannot use a paper ink roller with mylar labels. Vise versa works but those rolls are more expensive. I am sure you have tested this already but you point pretty exclusively to the "new" print head with your testing. Sounds like you have answered your own question. I would do some continuity tests on the head to see if it carries any current at all. Good Luck!

Print head failure signal

Error 5 is an ink cartridge error. Cleaning the print head and electrical contacts on the cartridge does not fix this error. You need to get a new cartridge to fix the problem.

See if there is a pin sticking out of the print head. If so, you must replace the head. You can google and find a head.

This is probably THE single most common failure among digital cameras. There's a halfway chance of fixing it yourself, described here: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html

Did you check the lines per page setting on the printer? For normal 11" length forms, the setting should be 66lpp.

Home Error

A21 Home Error refers to the printhead not moving. Most cases, it is due to the fuse being blown on the main logic board. You have to remove the top cover. Open the clear cover, pop out the plastic pins, remove, then pull off the tractor knob on the right, remove the two screws at the top back of the printer, lift up the cover from the back towards the front. You will have to unplug an electrical connect ribbon from behind the control panel. Check the fuse and replace if necessary.
