Hi and welcome to FixYa. The RM4236 has been superceeded by the RM4230 but the installation procedures are the same. See this link on distances:
http://www.obrienscamping.co.uk/articles/FridgeInstall.htm

Also you should use a vent like the one shown here:
http://www.obrienscamping.co.uk/articles/vents.htm

(Standard Vent Kit - Includes L100 Top Vent, L200 Bottom Vent and Winter cover)

Hopefully you already have a flue kit. (Comes with installation instructions) If not you will need to obtain one.

Here is one source for the kit:

http://www.caravanning-online.co.uk/acatalog/dometic-flue-kit.html

I think the Dometic kit number that includes the vents and flue is A1620/4. I am not certain on that number as it may be for larger units.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Strong fumes from new frigidaire gas oven.what should i look for

If it smells like gas Shut the gas off outside call installer, or
gas company. If it doesn't smell like gas, most likely it's the "new smell" caused by the heat. If you have a kitchen vent fan turn it on. If it persists Call the installer or dealer. No action by them? call the mfg customer service number in your owner's manual. It's possible something was left in the oven burner area that shouldn't be there.

Why do I have no ventilation in my crank case on my chevy truck

That is what the PCV system is supposed to do. Positive Crankcase Ventilation. The pcv valve (maybe on the valve cover) sucks the fumes out into the intake manifold by a vacuum hose. There is also a fresh air hose to the valve cover from the air breather. As the fumes are sucked out, fresh air is supplied in.
You need to check the pcv system.

My frigidaire gas dryer will not heat

Good Morning Margie,

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire gas dryer heating. I also see that the vent is plugged. You definitely do not want that vent plugged. Your dryer needs proper ventilation in order for it to work correctly. The reason it might not be heating is due to the fact that that vent is plugged and is not getting enough ventilation. Unplug that vent, make sure that there is gas going to the appliance, and that the gas supply valve is open.

-Best Regards-

Strong gas fumes when burner is on to bring up wash temp just had burner replaced

there are only two reasons that this would happen.
1. The burners are not adjusted correctly for optimal performance and they are running rich. Could be a gas pressure issue causing this or the orifice and fuel air adjustment needs checked.
2. The ventilation is not adequate.
You need to measure the CO level if this is not vented to the outside. If it is then you need to make sure the flu is adequate and there are in temp inversion issues or room air causing backflow etc.

If the model number is correct, the ventilation installation instructions begin on page 12 of the owner's manual. You can view, or download a copy of your manual at the following link:

if it is a gas dryer the exhaust fumes are dangerous. Even if its a electric you still do not want to breathe in the lint that the dryer blows out.
