Lallman first unplug the joystick cable from the base plug then remove the seat by lifting it off the center post (there is a pin or bolt in the post under the seat that you need to remove) Once you have the seat off you will be able to see the 2 battery boxes. Unplug the connector from the boxes by turning the connector and pulling them out. Undo the straps around each battery box and take them off (they will only go so far because of the battery wires. Remove the wires from the batteries and reinstall on the new batteries paying attention to the polarity red to pos and black to neg. Then reinstall like you remove them. Hope this helps you
