This indicates a shorted temperature probe. This is easy to check and replace. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/oventempprobe.html

I have a Norge 59F-5TXW built-in cooking over which has stopped working. When I turn it on it displays the clock and all, but the Broil will only stay on low and the Bake will not go higher than 180...

F3 may be due to a failed temperature sensor or corroded connections to it, but we also see this problem often due to a failure in the control board, which can be repaired: http://www.fixyourboard.com/boards/7601P177-60.html

Oven won't heat past 290 after that we get an error message

Your oven is in celcius mode to change press bake and broil at the same time SF will appear then press broil and cooking time at the same time a C will appear press again to toggle to farenheight then press start to lock it in that mode. Some models when you press the bake and broil the sf will appear if it does press the press the broil button to toggle between C & F then press start.

Magic Chef oven displays F3 everytime the bake or broil button is pushed. Not sure what the model # is. Electrical range.

this could be a an open probe or shorted probe connection.you need to check your temp probe harness to your main board.
there is a chance that you need to replace your temp probe.
last thing would be to replace the EOC

Broil turns ON when pressing BAKE button on RBS275PD Whirlppol oven

Our Whirlpool oven just started doing the same thing!!!! The Delay Start Time (setting it for one minute ahead) and then Start works just fine.  But we fried the tops of three loaves of homemade bread!!!!
Is Whirlpool just a bad brand for ovens?

I need to disable my ovens auto shut off

The control is automatically set to turn off the oven after 12 hours baking or 3 hours broiling should you forget and leave the oven on. If you want to remvoe this feature do the following steps: 1. Press and hold, at the same time, the BAKE and BROIL buttons for 3 seconds, until the display shows "SF". 2. Press the DELAY START TIME button. The display shows "12Shdn" for 12 hour shut off. Press the DELAY START TIME button again. The display will show "no Shdn" for no shut off. 3. Press the START button.
