They come with 1-Year parts and labor warranty normally, so if you bought it less than a year ago, they might fix it for you! If you got it at Best Buy (for example) recently, take it in and ask.
If the headphone jack is attached to the motherboard then the only solution is to re-solder the jack (or a new jack) to the motherboard, if it has been detached. (I have tripped over a headphone cable once or twice and done this)
Hiring a tech to solder can be expensive and time consuming and it MIGHT be less expensive to replace the motherboard. If you are feeling tech-savvy yourself and know how to solder you may try to attach a new jack, since you know you will have to replace the motherboard anyway.
Unfortunately, your laptop does NOT have expansion slots, so the only way to add an another sound card would be USB external, which is very inconvenient for a laptop.
So YES. All things being equal, a new motherboard is your only option... that being said, attempting to fix the old one can only result in the same solution, at worst.

The motherboard will occupy almost all the space inside your mini-laptop. To replace it requires some tech-savvy and I would NOT recommend doing so without finding exact instructions or talking to a tech. It is easy to order a motherboard online, just type in your mini-laptop model number and such and the word motherboard and your choices will appear.

I would take it into wherever you bought it and act stupid. Say, "my sound does not work and I just bought this" and cry, if possible. That usually gets the job done.

If not. Please use precise instructions, such as a YouTube video, of how to replace the motherboard and make sure you purchase one that matches your EXACT model number. If you need more help... JUST ASK.

Where are the headphone jacks on the Toshiba satellite A105-S4334 laptop loc

There are two ports, a headphone port (out) and a microphone port (in). They are located on the front of the laptop as shown in the picture below. You can check out the tour for the location of all ports at the link below:

How to hook up my toshiba c655 to tv and have audio

If you have HDMI out on your laptop, it should send the sound and picture to your TV (make sure appropriate drivers are installed).

If you only have VGA out, then it will not send sound. Tthe only other option is if your TV has Audio IN (either 3.5mm headphone jack, or RCA Left/Right), then you could connect the headphone jack of your laptop to the TV that way.

How can i hook my toshiba satellite pro to my tv

there are some options here.. however they are limited to what ports are available on your computer AND on your tv.. for instance..

1 s-video, this is a round like ps/2 port thatt he computer and your tv have to have for video.

2 you can use a vga port from the laptop onto the tv for video

3 you can get a switch box that will be VGA from the laptop to VGA on the switch box that will use AV cables to the tv like a dvd player, and you'll just hook your computers headphone jack intot he jack on the converter box for sound through the tv.

4 buy a brand new smart tv.

I don't know what kind of cable i need to connect my Toshiba satellite L305D laptop to my hdtv

depending on how old you laptop is because the L300 range has been going for a while will be either a HDMI cable or a VGA to HDMI cable but if you require sound and you have to use the latter you will need a headphone jack to auxhilary lead to go from the headphone port of your laptop to the line in on your tv

Headphone Jack is NOT working properly

Check your sound device levels. you may need to enable that headphone port before it is usable. you can do this in the control panel tab. reinstalling your sound drivers wouldn't hurt also.

Toshiba A10 headphone jack problem

I think you are on the right track, if the headphone jack is worn and shorting out itll kill the speakers because it thinks headphones are plgged in, ebay would be a good start for parts, maybe even call toshiba and speak to their tech support.

Toshiba satellite r15-S829 has no sound at all

The socket on the motherboard was physical damaged, you can't fix it by your self but component level technician only. so you better buy a USB sound converter to make sound out form USB port of the laptop rather to fix the motherboard.
