What wireless/wifi cards are compatible with NEC 900 and Win CE 3.0? drivers??
I bought a used NEC MobilePro 900 and I love it, but am looking for a wireless/wifi card that is compatible, and has the drivers for Windows CE 3.0. Does anybody know which ones REALLY DO work and how to find the drivers? I've looked at a Lucent Tech WaveLan card, a Symbol card, and others. I know the Sandisk CF wireles is not compatible (contacted the company). Any help out there? Thanks!
Re: what wireless/wifi cards are compatible with NEC 900...
I use the Socket Low Power WLAN CF radio in a PCMCIA adapter so I can use the CF socket for a 500MB memory card. I downloaded the driver from the web, you may have to use Google, or try HPC sites like hpcfactor.com.

Basicly the wireless router needs to be connected into the internet, then you will be able to connect to it. You need to install the card and make sure it works in your device, then connect into the router and it should work fine.
MobliePro 780 can use up to 32mb of memory and not 16mb but but you can't get any higher cause its limited by Windows CE Memory Map.
If nec will offer an upgrade for windows CE3 or higher problem could be solved.
Well your going to have to check whether your device has inbuilt wireless capability (refer to manual). If it doesnt there are various expansion slot solutions like SD and Compact flash wireless cards.
