Is lifecam VX500 compatible with Mac Leopard?

i believe best buy salesman are on commision. He/she gave you bad advice. it's all a question of whether you can get the proper driver for that cam. considering it's made by microsoft i doubt it as they do not play well together.

perhaps take it back and find a cam you like. read the system requirements and make sure it will work on a mac system.

Compatibility with mac?

It should tell you on the packaging that came with your webcam. Usually, logitech is only compatible with Windows, but it depends on the date of the webcam. So yeah, check the box and it will tell you, or type the webcam info into google. Hope this helped

Webcam installation of genius slim 1322AF to mac os x

No installation needed on my Mac (1.8 Ghz PowerPC G5, OSX 10.5.5) to use the 1322AF; just plug the cam in your USB port. The camera is detected automatically when starting a relevant program (f.e. Skype). Unfortunaley Photo Booth crashes sometimes (!) Also the software "CrazyTalk" (included) is for Windoze users only.
Hope it works for your guys, too...

I seek a driver MAC OS X for one Icatch (IV) PC camera USB

I found one that will work... or, at leas it worked for me. It's not a 'proper' one for iCatch but it is compatible on my iMac G5 OSX (10.4.11). Try it and maybe it will work for you...

Go to this website, then click on the link that says "Where can I download the camera drivers?", and then in the bottom right box that appears under the pics of webcams, click on the "Mac OSX" link.

Good luck - hope it works for you!
