Try power reset... remove memory card, remove battery for 15 seconds. Reinstall memory card, then battery.

SORRY wrong forum but hope it can still be answered. Quiet Partner 3 dishwasher completes diagnostic perfectly but will not run normal cycle. Inlet valve works as does the float during diagnostic.

Does the water fill during other cycles? How did you confirm the water inlet valve works, through the diagnostic mode or just by applying power? There's a chance it is not providing enough water pressure to trigger the pressure switch (although that would likely cause a diagnostic code).

Stuck in video mode

I had the same. I plug it into the computer and unplugged it several times, took out the micro SD card. Finally it said "no SD" after a while. Pulled out battery and put back in then plugged into computer again, and back to normal it seems. Sorry this is not a step by step but I was just trying random things till it worked. Did not re-test to see if it is OK for the next recording session.

I have a sony handycam dcr-sr58e and i ve got a error E;61:10 message can you please help me solving this problem

Hi,
E:61:10 is an error code that shows problem with lens mechanism, zoom and back focus motors got stuck for some reason and lens assembly does not move and self diagnostic function detects the problem and put camera in protection mode.
Since your camera is new and has valid warranty so send it in Sony service for proper repair.
Thanks.

Camera not displaying images as seen through viewfinder. The screen is black. Image controls and info can be seen but the picture is just black. Takes photos which are also black; but previous photos...

A stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras, particularly for the SD1000. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open). To confirm a stuck shutter, put the camera in any mode other than "Auto", and turn the flash OFF (you don't want to blind yourself for the next step). Next look down the lens and take a picture. You should see a tiny flicker in the center of the lens as the shutter opens and closes. If no movement is seen, then you likely have a stuck shutter. If so, please see this link for further info and a simple fix that may help.

By the way, my wife's SD1000 also has this problem every once in a while. I easily fix it by using the following steps from the link: powering on the camera, opening and closing the battery door, and flicking the end of the lens barrel with my fingertip (or you can tap it with a pencil as discussed in the link).

I have a Kitchen aid model KUDS01DJBL0 There seems to be a two fold problem: 1) cannot set reset cycel even tho the panel lock is off. When you close the door the light for normal goes on but you cannot...

You have to touch certain of the front panel touchbuttons in a certain pre-specified order. This sequence will cause the built in computer to initiate a "Diagnostic Mode", the repairman will step quickly through all the cycles at 1-2 minute intervals so that he doesn't waist his time. At the end of the diagnostic steps the computer will revert back to normal mode. You will need the "controls and cycles diagnostic sheet for repairman" map-sheet to be able to do the above, this sheet was with the machine when you first bought it.
I suspect the computer in your machine is stuck in the "Diagnostic mode" and is not getting out of it.

press menu button, left or right arrow button until you come upon REC Mode. Choose option Normal. Yours is on Multiburst and that is causing your problem. Changing it to Normal should fix it.

proper focus in any camera will see colors ..or else record in b& w and in bad focus... make sure your macro mode is off and norm-auto on... most focus problems are due to dropping or stuck lenses.

night mode might mean your day sense has gone bad... the white balance etc.look for a default setting and turn it on.

Camera stuck in movie mode

If you remove the back cover you will see that there is a switch on the main board wich changes the operation mode for the camera. It's normal position is "movie mode". On the back of the camera there is a know which changes the position of the mode switch - most likely that knob is damaged and would need to be replaced in order to resore normal operation to the camera. Please be aware that Fuji uses special security screws for the camera case to dicourage people from opening the cameras. With the right tools and replacement part this is an easy repair - I could do it for about $30, including shipping back to you - email me at eds2000@yahoo.com if interested, or I could also buy your camera as is.
