Question about Refrigerators
An inlet valve is tested disconnecting it and reading Ohms at its terminal. If the valve read open circuit, then the solenoid is broken and valve is broken. Ordinary inlet valves stay closed when there is no power. The valve may also be mechanically faulty. In that case the valve is fully tested by energizing it directly and observing it is opening and closing.
Check manual here at page 21 to find out how to access the valve.
If valve is OK, then problem is likely the autoIQ controller, more parts may need testing.
