Yes, you need to replace the capacitor located in the box where the switch is. I know it's been a while since your post, but if you open the box an look on ebay, the capacitor is about $5.

They do not make spare parts for this import brand, you will need to replace it.

What is the cause the fan is starting and stoping the same for the lights

When laptops cycle off after only a few seconds operation, the culprit is usually heat related. If the processor overheats the unit will automatically shut down to save it. The fan operating is no guarantee that the processor is cooling. The intake vents and the heat sink fins on laptops are rather tiny and will clog with dust, lint and debris rather easily. Many people don't consider this when they lay their laptops on their beds, sofas, etc. and restrict the air flow. Also, laying on the floor is an invitation for the unit to pick up all the dust and dirt that accumulates there. You may have to partially disassemble the case to access the heat sink, but once you get there they are easy to clean with a small brush or a can of electronic duster (canned air). Do not use anything wet to clean the heatsink!

Squeaky condenser fan motor on Carrier 3 ton central air. I oiled once 4 months ago and noise stopped but noise returned today. Is there a special oil for the berings?

Hello
Usually a light oil.Wd 40.
Most of these motors are sealed bearings, meaning they do not get oiled. When they start making noise it means the motor bearings are getting worn and the motor will need to be replaced soon.

I have got 5 to 6 months out of noisy motors using a light household oil or WD 40.

Old emerson electric window fan, does it need oil or to be oiled, my dad has had for many years, I've been noticing a burning smell when fan runs for a long period of time

  • First think I think when I hear of a burning smell is have you cleaned out the motor housing real well lately. Lots of fuzz, dust, etc can build up in there and make that motor really work hard and start to make it want to overheat or over heat. Unplug the fan and take a tooth pic and get in the motor assembly and pull the lint etc out of there with it. Some canned air may help a bit to once things are loosened up.
  • As for lubricating the fan you won't oil it. The motor spins the fan so there is nothing to lubricate. When the motor goes the the fan stops so the best thing you can do is strip that fan the best you can and wash and dry the parts real good and clean the motor housing out real well to let that motor breath as much as possible.
  • When a fan motor gets old and is worked real hard it can get hot by default and things will smell hot. If the fan has already been cleaned real well the best thing you can do is give it a break more frequently or look into a replacement motor.

  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

Regards, Tony

My laptop fan had been making noise for a few months and now just stoped working!!

Hello:
Generally, all laptops cooling fan start for a second just after power on and you may notice noises. These noises, comming from the fan, are because it is dirty. So, it may be jammed by dust excess. If this is the case, you need to take apart it and inspect the fan while booting the machine. Removing the keyboard would let you see the fan and clean it. Try to move the vane with your finger to make sure if it is not obstructed. Maybe, you need to take the fan out and oil its axle. Besides you can check if its power cord is attached correctly. It is not recommended to operate the laptop with this malfunctioning fan.

I hope this helps you. Thanks

Cooling temp stays normal while driving on expressway but when i stop it over heats and the a/c sudenly stoped working

Then radiator fan is not working either because the temperature switch is bad or the fan itself is bad. Start with the fuse relay etc. In my experience though the most likely culprit is a bad fan motor.
