How do replace radiator hose

As car repairs go, a radiator hose is one of the easier jobs.

Get a replacement hose.

Wait for the engine to be cold.

Loosen the hose clamps at each end of the hose.

Use a heavy screwdriver if needed to loosen the hose from the radiator and engine. Pull the hose off both ends.

Put new hose on, with the clamps. Tighten the clamps.

Fill the radiator with coolant as needed.

done.

Can the hose in the retractable carrier be replaced? How do I do it?

You can replace that hose by fully extending it and locking the reel. At that point you should be able to unscrew the hose from its connector. A replacement hose can be screwed on in its place.

One alternative, if the reel's hose connector isn't inside the spool area, would be to just cut off the hose at the break, then buy a replacement hose end (with barb fitting to match your hose) and a small stainless-steel hose clamp. They work really well when you get one that's correctly sized for your hose. They're hazardous out at the "business end" of the hose, though - they can cut your hands.

Hose is connected to dispose water but bucket fills up

First check that the opening from bucket to hose is clear of obstructions. If you used a washing machine hose and the filter screen is still in the end of the hose, then replace the screen with an ordinary hose gasket.

A gel-like growth can develop in the drain hose. Drain the bucket. Remove the hose and connect it to an outdoor faucet to flush the hose. Reconnect the hose using an ordinary hose gasket.

How do i make it continue to run with no bucket so it does not fill and and so i don't have to empty it

Attach a length of garden hose no longer than 5 feet, to the threaded drain hose connection that was supplied with your unit, to carry water to the drain.
1. Remove the drain-hole cover on the back left side of your unit.
2. Connect a garden hose to the threaded drain hose connector.
3. Push hose connector tightly to the drain-hole on Rear Grille with the arrow on the tab pointing UP.
The hose attachment will accept a standard garden hose fitting.
Do not over tighten the hose when connecting it to the hose connector,
use a rubber washer and tighten by hand firmly without stripping the
plastic threads.
When being attached to hose connector drain hose connection,
do not bend or kink the hose. The hose should lie flat from the
dehumidifier to the drain.

The hose on my accuspray turbine Hvlp system is collapsing once it gets hot. Do hoses wear out like this, and can I replace re hose with a standard garden hose, or do I need to buy an accuspray hose?...

The hose supplied by Accuspray does soften as it warms up but should not be collapsing. Most hvlp turbine system manufacturers supply a hose with a helix reinforced hose that will not collapse.

The majority of hoses for hvlp systems are 3/4" inside diameter hose like the Accuspray hose and will work with your system.

The fittings will work with any 3/4" garden hose. Problem with using garden hose is that the cheap ones will collapse and kink and the quality ones will be heavy.
