Question about Microsoft Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I have Windows 7 . Internet Explorer 8 is installed - but it will not launch. Clicking the E icon does nothing ,-only a little circle buzzes round and stops. It stopped working back in July . I have tried the microsoft web site - but can find no answers. I have a Packard Bell PC -Intel core - model imedia S3720. It is 32 and 62 bits. I can launch Internet Explorer through the 62bit - but this cannot be used for the home page. My usual computer helper could not get it to work and has put me on to Mozilla. On this I cannot get a web site via an e-mail and I cannot get pdfs from a website! Can you help?

This happens because your Windows is severely corrupted. You can partially fix it by removing Mozilla Firefox and installing Opera as your main browser, but this will only mask the real problem - the rendering engine is corrupted. In the end the best way to fix that is to perform a full reinstall

Hi Windows XP is outdated. Both internet explorer and Firefox browsers have stopped support for Windows XP. Latest Firefox version is 57.0.2 and it is not possible to install on Windows XP. Internet explorer also cannot be updated on Windows XP. Please check your motherboard's manufacturer's site to see what latest operating system, it will support. I guess old systems wont support Windows 10 but support only till Windows 7 or Windows 8. Please consider updating to latest operating system if you want to use for browsing.

The internet explorer icon is not responding (no matter how many times i clik)?

It is possible that the shortcut icon is broken. Click start and then click Internent Explorer apposed to clicking it on your desktop.

I would also recommend installing the latest available Internet Explorer for your computer.
Click here to download Windows Internet Explorer 8.( For Microsoft Windows XP or Vista.)
Click here to download Windows Internet Explorer 9.( For Microsoft Windows Vista or 7.)

Be sure to select your version of Microsoft Windows under the correct language. Click the download button to proceed.

Take care!

How to see web history

Internet Explorer 7 is a popular Internet browser offered by Microsoft. As all Internet browsers so, Internet Explorer 7 keeps a record of your search history. So if want to retrace something you searched earlier or you want to check the history of someone else who has accessed your computer, you can view Internet Explorer 7 search history.

Instructions:

1.Launch Internet Explorer 7 by clicking on the icon of it that is located on your computer's desktop or by finding it by clicking on "Start" and then the "All Programs" list.

2.Click on the "Star" icon that is located in the upper left-hand corner of your Internet Explorer 7 browser window.

3.Click on "History" from the drop-down menu that appears in the left navigation pane that pops up on your IE 7 window. Your search history is displayed. Click on an item within the list to visit the website.

Do you have addons in your IE browser, if so right click on the IE Icon and click start in NO ADDON MODE and see if the behavior stops.
also, the .net framework can cause issues you may want to reinstall the .net 3 update individually and see if your IE settles down.
There are so many things that can cause problems in IE. especially when you update it, seems everytime there are problems.
