Can anyone run Millie's Math house successfully? Mine starts and runs for
typically 3 minutes, then hangs with the watch icon showing (and movable).
I appreciate any input.
Yes, this is my second posting. I'm 0 for 2 this Christmas.
Does anyone know a list of kids software that works in OS/2??
Thanks, Lee Gordon (lgor @cts.com)

Don't waste too much time on it. I get the same hangs in DOS. Bailey's
will run from between 4 and 60 minutes or so and then hang. I worked with
EdMark on the problem for a while and we concluded it was their lack of
support for newer soundcards and insisting that the SoundBlaster use certain
IRQs. They have no intention of "fixing" this but might consider it for
future titles.
(On my system IRQ 10 is the only one free for my SB-16 but Bailey's doesn't
allow that)

Bill, Mike-
Thanks for the replys. I've thrown in the towel on both Millie and Math Workshop.
The kids start both with a DOS floppy and an autoexec.bat that gets 'em started.
Maybe I'll bug Edmark and Broderbund a little--maybe some day they'll go out and
buy a copy of Warp :-)

I have both Busytown's running under OS/2, Crayola Art Adventure, Math Blaster,
Reader Rabbit I. I also have Edmark's Bailey's Book House, and have problems
similar to yours. I have found that Bailey's only wants to run in real DOS. In
fact, it exhibited identical problems running in Windoze in real DOS as it does
running in a DOS session in OS/2. I haven't played with it, but I was going to
try to get it to run in a VDM and see what happens.
