Frozen Magellan 3000T

I tried to reset it with a toothpick. I get somewhere down there and leave it sit for awhile then remove the toothpick. I;ve tried this for days. Any suggestions?

My Magellan 3000t suddenly stopped working, and when I turn it on, it shows the logo "MAGELLAN" and doesn't do anything.
I tried pushing the reset button, but it goes off for as long as I keep it pressed.
Then the same thing, just the logo.
I donwloaded the firmware on the website, but when I follow the rules from the setup program, I connect via usb and the pc doesn't detect the gps.
It says, no magellan roadmate gps detected.

This also is happening to my unit, after 2 years they die. The worst part is that it seems that it is happening to a lot of users and I don't see any "real" answers on how to solve the problem. There should be some support for units that sold for over $500 a peice!!!

Magellan Roadmate 300T, bought new battery but it wont charge.

make sure green light is on the car charger and let it plugged in for awhile, then hold the power button (up to ten seconds) until it starts..if that fails

the following magellan800,860,2000,2200t,2500,3000,3050,3100,3140,4000,4040,4050 and the 6000t are known to have faulty dc connectors...if your magellan gps is not charging or will not power up, its most likely the dc powerport...i sell these power ports and will repair them for anyone thats notable to do it themselves.

Hi, I have Magellan roadmate 3000t. When I turn it on, it shows Magellan blue screen and stays it forever. I tried to reset many times without success. Can you help me to solve this problem?

3000T won'y shut off

When you turn it off, do you hold the off button in until it turns off? As for it won't let you reenter data, is the destination off or cancelled to put in a new?

Being solid stae electronics - there is little or nothing for you to do
With this type of thing it works or it does not.

When the unit is off, can you see a line where the screen is possibly cracked? look close. If you can your LCD is busted and it needs to be replaced. Is the sound working fine? Will respond after answers.
