Siemens Gigaset A2: No ringer, paging, earphone sound, no clicks. Display is correct. Other subscribers can hear me. Reset of headset and base don't solve the problem. AC adapter - voltage OK

1st step check in supply units - 110/230V AC to 9.5V AC adapter for base station.dd
2nd step check in ringer volume (ring tone) if the rank is zero (0) ringer is off and afterward change to wish-able ringer volume 1-5.

Is this connected by POTS or SIP?

YOU SHOULD HARD RESET THE UNIT

When restoring factory settings:
u Handsets are de-registered
- When resetting via the menu:
all Gigaset handsets
- When resetting using the key on the
base station: also all handsets of
other GAP capable devices
u Individual settings are reset
u All lists are deleted
u The system PIN is reset to the original
code 0000
u Eco Mode+ is deactivated
Only the date and time are retained.

Just had a look at my Gigaset C2, where I can just follow the menu, same on my Gigaset A2. Have you got a screen display with menu options?

To register the Gigaset handset, you need to have the handset near the base. Press and hold the Register/Paging button on the base for 3+ seconds (it's hidden by the handset when on the base). A shorter press of the button will activate the Paging feature. Then within 60 seconds of pressing the Register button on the base, press Menu and select Settings. Press OK and go to Handset. Press OK and then select Register HS. Enter the base PIN (default is 0000) and then press OK. (Use the up/down arrows to navigate the menus.) You will see Registering flash on the display of the handset for approximately 1 minute while the registration is processed.

First pull the battery fron the handset, pres the register button (Page) for a long time, eg 10 sec, then register the handset through the menu, setings, handset, register

I had to pull out the battery to reset it....

Hello could some please help me with my Siemens Gigast A200, it has no display on the Base phone.

We've tried to register the Siemens A260 handset to the base but it continues to flash "Base".. and does not work.
