    Hello luisa,

Heater has been disconnected as well as motor and still tripping when wash cycle starts.Itseems like a fault in the control module .If i programme drain only there is no problem only on wash cycles.

If the total connection to the motor was removed and still the ELCB trips off, then the fault seems to be with the main controller unit. There is an error in this unit that is causing the program to make the error when the program activates the wash stage. It can varry from a short in the drive to a leak inthe drive.
So the best way to look is to disconnect the drive/pre-drive of the motor.
If the trips stops then you will find this drive as the suspect.

Hi just read your posting. Now in your posting you mentioned that you disconnected the motor terminals. Is this correct? And the problem still trips the earth trip. From my experience on the LG machines it is the heating element which causes the earth trip to activate.Try this,Put the motor terminals back to the motor and remove the wires from the element.Make the wires safe with insulation tape and the turn the power on to the machine and select a cycle. Please reply on how you got on and for further help.Lookingh forward to your reply.

Hi.

If the machines trips circuit breaker with motor not-connected, that means that there is a short in wiring from control board , or that the main electronic control is also defective.
If there is an additional control unit wired to the motor (MCU motor control unit), then this part may also be responsible.

Testing is done reading Ohms on the opposite polarity wires to motor. If they show continuity with low impedance, that means that there is a short. Testing MCU (motor control unit, held in a sealed module inside washer) or CCU (timer control board) is more complicate.

Hotpoint Aquarius wm61 trips as soon as its filled with water,if I remove alot of the water it will allow me to spin

If you mean that the machine is tripping the circuit breaker then that is an indication that the water is creating an electrical current path to Earth. The heating element is normally enclosed in a metal sheath but if this is compromised then water will get in and current will then leak to earth, causing the circuit breaker to trip. The heating element can be replaced, but the cause of the damage to the element should also be determined to prevent it happening again. The rotating drum can become partially detached from it's mount and end up hitting the heating element when spinning, causing the element to be damaged. The drum mount (often called a SPIDER) may therefore also need replacing. If you machine was making a lot of knocking noises when in spin cycle then it would certainly indicate a broken mount.

My machine fills with water and before the drum starts to rotate, it blows the fuse.

If your talking about tripping the breaker its designed to trip under load. Yes if something is keeping the drum from turning that put a load on the breaker and trips it..It will keep tripping until there's no over load on the drum...I'm guessing your talking about a washing machine... You can take the belt off the motor and if the motor is good it will turn on but not spin the drum...Then you know the motor is good and something is preventing the drum from turning. And if the motor is bad you can smell a burnt smell if you get close enough to the motor..Hope this helps

Lg intellowasher wd-8013f is very noisy

You suspect right.
It is a complete strip down job. I have just finished mine.
taking apart and reassembling is not too dificult.but you need to make up a tool to remove and replace the bearings which are two different sizes. It consists of a lenghth of studding, bolts and washers.
Download the manual from LG.
Good Luck

I have a stoves dishwasher i do not know model or serial no only just its a stoves DW 60 it turn on but as soon as the door is closed to start the wash it blow the trip in the fuse box

Its one of two things. Either its your heating element or your motor. Look underneath and also inspect for water having possibly splashed around. Remove both element wires from terminals and place them safely as not to touch anything when testing. If macine now doesnt trip off, you have found the problem. If it does, remove the motor wires and retest. If still tripping, check where power enters the machine. There is a line filter. on occasion it blows and shorts to earth.(remember, when removing these wires, pull plug out of socket.

My aquairius hotpoint washer dryer wd62 keeps tripping electric why

Remove top cover, and unplug motor, try it, and if it does not trip, then motor is causing prob.
If it still trips, then heater is probably causing problem.

Sounds very much like the program PCB (printed circuit board) needs replacing.

Hotpoint Aquarius WM31 Washing Machine

The tripping can either be down to a short circuit drawing too much current and blowing the fuse , or an earth leakage blowing an RCD. You can eliminate the motor when it happen again , by unplugging it and see if the fuse blows (without turning the drum). Most likely is the heater , but i cannot explain why turning the drum allows it to continue. It is possible a wire is rubbing somewhere on the drum pulley , motor or casing. If the machine will immediately trip again if you don't move the drum , try isolating parts by disconnecting and then retrying.
