How stable is the Wifi? Ours goes fast and slow here due to old wires in the yard and stuff like that. I sometimes lose my wifi and have to reconnect. It can be also an issue with the wifi in the unit itself.
The connection is limited ... He couldn't connect to Wi-fi on battery power. ..... Will this work if we have limited connectivity when trying to connect through a LAN cable? .... I found another solution, If you are running Windows 8 and your laptop keepsdropping the WiFi .... Investigate router or access point issues Failed
If you are at home trying to get on your own WiFi connection, try unplugging everything involved with the WiFi signal. This could be a router and a modem, but if you're not sure, just unplug it all. Wait 20 seconds and plug everything back into the wall.
Next turn off your tablet. Not just putting it to sleep, but actually turning it off. Then turn it back on and try again.
If it still doesn't work, try using the WiFi with another device and if it doesn't work, let us know.
You probably have the setting for WiFi set up to where it shuts off while in sleep mode. You can probably fix it by going to your settings and changing the WiFi setting to always on. Not sure which setting its under but just select and check out each setting category until you see something that relates to changing wifi setting. I could be more detailed but would have to go there to be sure which exact setting.
sometimes it helps to just make a restart of the iPad to get things sorted....
Restart iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
It sounds as if you simply need to reconnect to your wifi network. If you have already connected to it, but still have no access, then disconnect from your network, remove the network from your settings (Forget The Network) and then try reconnecting to it.
don't know if it works the same for your tablet as it does my droid phone, but i had to go into my settings/battery and data management/data delivery/social applications/data delivery frequency and select automatic(push). I'm sure its in a different location and probably named something else on your but i would start by going through your setting and seeing if there is something in there you can change.
JUST SIMPLY RESTART YOUR COMPUTER THEN CHECK YOUR INTERNET AND WIFI SETTINGS ,RECONNECT TO YOUR WIFI THEN RESTART YOUR INTERNET OPEN SITED YOU FAILED TO LOG ON TO AND CLICK REFRESH THEN SIMPLY JUST SIGNIN AGAIN
Go to settings and turn on wifi. If you cant do that and see networks somethings wrong with it. Try returning it or going through the manufacturer because its defective. If there are no networks you need wifi. Find that and retry. If you can't get wifi to work and cant return it then try putting the updated firmware from support part of the cruz website on your sd card and follow the instructions to reflash. If you can't even do that the thing is broken, find papers that have a tendency to blow off of where they are supposed to be and use it to hold them down. Remember you bought something with a resistive touch screen and a 1/2 ghz processor. It's slow and occasionally annoying to use. That is what you bought though. If it's just that you think it sucks then the problem is with research you did.
