So you are saying it boots to a black screen? do you have a cmos jumper on ur motherbaord? resetting the cmos may help but its possible you have a bad processor. also rarely the bios may need updated to run a different processor

Update for SiS 2615 Display Adapter to load windows XP pro

The PC Chips MB PCCHIPS SiS746FX M848A V5.0 462 motherboard does not have onboard video, correct? So if you can obtain the make and model of your video card, you can then find the Windows XP drivers online for download. Then you would be able to provide said drivers when the "system asks you to update SiS 2615 Display Adapter driver"

*Another quick fix would be to use a different VGA card, if you have one available?

*Now, I have never been prompted to update display driver before or during a windows installation or update. So that step I would require a little more detail on. I have only been prompted for mass storage drivers (as seen in screenshot).

Cpu to support sse2

Highest model cpu your board can support is the AMD Athlon XP model 3200. This is not a dual core cpu. You would need to upgrade to a newer motherboard in order to use a dual or quad core cpu. Hope this helps.

Liteon na115 mainboard can't display/load bios

1) Try re-seating the RAM
if it's still the same problem, then the power supply maybe bad.
Try with a good PS.

Intel cpu ucode loading eroor

You can upgrade your bios, you just need to visit the motherboard manufacturer site where you can download the latest bios.

http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=0&model=1276&modelmenu=1

You can also try to reset the bios first, you can reset it to default settings and if that will not work then you can upgrade the bios.

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P5PE-VM

and you can also check this site regarding bios upgrade

Brand new motherboard wont start up

Hi,
try taking 1 stick of ram off the motherboard, and boot up with 1 stick in slot 1 or 2.
You should get some beeps, 1 is system Ok.
3 is usually RAM/Graphics problems.
Also try booting with the motherboard setup disk in the CD Drive, it may be looking for files to initialise the Board.
And the obvious, check that all cabling is correct from mainboard to front panel. Power on/off Reset et,c.
View the user manual to see if the board has any jumper/dip switch settings for different configurations.

the dead card may have taken the motherboard and cpu with it.
he will have to strip the system to only 3 component and test them
1 stick memory /cpu and fand / video card that is all that should be connected. then pull memory of video card does it beep. if not the cpu or board is not posting at all.
