Pantech duo wont turn on

I bought this phone on ebay. Was told the phone is in great condition and works great. The condition IS great, nice shape looks nearly new. I charged the battery and the red light comes on. When it turned green, I went to turn it on and nothing. All this since yesterday evening. Tonight, after getting home from work i decided to try again with no success. I turned on my computer to try to search for help, (since I am trying to believe I have not just been screwed out of money by some **** on eBay) and noticed the screen lit up and was a bright color and hadthe windows logo on it and said windows media or mobile, I am not sure. Well it did nothing for a few seconds and then the screen went blank again. any suggestions? Thought about going to a AT&T store but haven't had the time yet. THANKS!!
