I'm trying to reset the error code. I can get to the diagnostics screen to reset the code with the normal entry, but the function button won't do anything, or any of the others. Do I need to do something different?
E075 error is a HARD error. Im means, it will not reset by turning the machine OFF and ON. The reason for the error is the Black transfer belt is moved too much in one dirrection, causing a fault. the belt will have to be moved to center by hand, then the E075 cde can be cleared in service mode. (function > f-misc-p> screen 2> E075-rls. then shut off.
its best to get a canon tech involved, because there is most likely other problems.

Re: canon clc 5100 E075 error code
Think about this, did it happen after a paper jam was removed? I've seen it when a piece of paper jamed in the connector of the transport unit blocking a sensor (ps19) or a funcation of the unit.Good luck...
