Hi,
these error means temperature trouble in fixing section.
First, lets try to clear error:

press *
press 2
press 8
press *

With arrow + or - select CLEAR and press OK, then select ALL and press OK.

If these doesn't solve your problem, these means that you need to change the fixing heater assy.

E000-001-002 please help solution regarding this code


This a fixing assembly tempature error. First reset the copier by getting into service mode. Additional Function key, then the 2 & 8 pressed at the same time, then Additional Function key again. Press COPIER on display, then Function ( across the top ), then CLEAR, ERR, Then Ok. Power down copier then wait a few seconds then power up again. If the error continues then the fixing film will have to be replaced.

ERROR CODE E000004-0001 IN 8070IR COPIER


This is error given by the thermistors in the fuser. Not detecting a temp change or too much temp difference between the thermistor ( front edge and Middle ). You can reset it by going into service mode. Press additional functions, then 2 and 8 at the same time, then additional functions. Press copier, then function at the top of the display, CLEAR, then ERR, then OK. Power down the copier using main power switch. Wait a few seconds then power up again. If the error continues then you will have to have the thermistors replaced if the heater is working. The heater should give an E000 code if not heating up.

What cause errer 000 canon np7161.when lit, it is E000 and it goes off after a few seconds.


A error code of E000 means that the fuser unit is not turning "ON" or is not warming up correctly. You will need to fix the problem before you can reset it. You may have a blown fuser lamp or thirmister or thermal fuse or all three? Good Luck

- Check the connectors of the fixing film unit.
- Need to replace fixing film unit.
- Need to replace Hi Voltage Power Supply Board
- Need to replace DCNT Board.

You have to get into service mode and reset it under Funcation. You may have a power problem with your outlet. It could also be a problem with the fixing unit..

Press the "Left" arrow for "Yes", then press "Set". Now, unplug the power cord and wait 5 seconds and plug back in. If this don't work, get a new fuser.
