Try attaching an external monitor to the laptop & see if you could get any display on it. If this is successful, then you might have either a faulty LCD cable or screen inverter board.
The LCD cable transfers data signal from the motherboard & video card to the LCD screen. It also supplies high voltage DC power to the screen inverter board. The screen inverter board works as a power supply for the backlight lamp mounted inside the LCD screen. It converts low voltage DC power to high voltage AC power needed for the backlight lamp

Hello, Sounds like the keyboard isn't working, first laptop or keyboard will have to be taken apart and the connector reseated, if that doesn't work, just replace the keyboard.

Keyboard stopped working, tried it in notepad, tried removing battery,

Check in the Device Manager for the Keyboard presence. If the keyboard does not appear it means that the keyboard doesn't commuicate with the mainboard anymore. If the keyboard appears installed and ok in the device manager, open on-screen keyboard from accesibilty and press every button on the keyboard, you should see on the computer display if any of the buttons work. If some buttons work and others don't it means that your keyboard is broken and only service can help you.

Either the keyboard is disconnected or the Keyscan on the keyboard itself is but. More than likely a loose connector.

Laptop keyboard on lifebook c, replace or fix

It looks like you answered your own question - you really can't fix a laptop keyboard, but you can replace them. (or you can use an external keyboard)

Now is your problem:?
Letters qwert, asdfg, zxcvbn work OK but uiop displays as 456/ jkl displays as 123 and m displays as 0. Other keys also do not display correctly. Or holding the function key down at the same time as the problem keys ?

Then the solution is:
The problem was caused by accidentally pressing the num lock key. Once pressed, it remains locked even after a reboot. Pressing again returns the keyboard to normal.
