This item is not a fax. It is an electronic whiteboard. The make and model have already been included.
Does anybody out there know how this thing works?

Looks like a sensor problem, that is impeding the ability of the whiteboard to 'read' the board. It would be best to call in a professional to do an on the spot diagnosis.
If possible, try using a different printer. You can also try the hard reset method..Unplug from mains, wait a couple of minutes and replug..

Hope that helps..

Greetings,
If it is possible try to print a test page from the printer. This will give you an idea if it is the white board not registering or if the printer is incapable of creating a complete image. As there is little information to be found about your device I would give the people at ewhiteboards a call as Maklean has suggested. Sorry to not be of greater assistance.
Take Care,
-WN

Tip

Clean difficult marks off your whiteboard

When a message or any marks are left on a whiteboard for longer than 24 hours it becomes very difficult to clean off the board. These marks are difficult but not impossible to get off.

You will need rubbing alcohol and a soft clean cloth. There will be fumes given off by the rubbing alcohol therefore if you are going to be cleaning up a large whiteboard you will want to open a window.

Taking the cloth, apply some rubbing alcohol and rub it on the ink. It is important that you not use a soft cloth because using a brush or abrasive sponge will cause damage to the board.

You might need to apply a little pressure to get really old stains off. If you find that a stain isn't coming off it is possible that it is permanent marker, to get these off you can draw over the marks with a dry erase marker and then wipe it off using a clean cloth that has rubbing alcohol on it.

To avoid getting in these situations, only use dry erase markers and clean the board as soon as you are done with it. Leaving marks on the board will make them harder to get off.

If you are worried about ruining the whiteboard you can always use a whiteboard cleaning solution. For this you just spray the solution on the board, let it sit for five seconds and then wipe it off. The solution will also get rid of any residue left behind by other cleaners that you may have tried to use.

What is a whiteboard?

A whiteboard is a non-electronic variation of the traditional "rewriteable" schoolroom blackboard, but is white instead of black and of a material that can be written on with colored markers (known as dry erase markers). Dry erase markers are easier to erase than the chalk used on a blackboard (which sometimes requires a wet rag for thorough erasing).

I have a smudge on my Panaboard and would like to clean it but don't know what I can use? Any suggestions?

All Panasonics can have a moist cloth or even a little metholated spirits on the screen. Occasionally a machine has a heavy bump which causes a greying effect between the two layers of the screen- you will NOT be able to remove the discolouring if that has happened. By the way- NEVER use whiteboard cleaning fluids on the screen- use water or a moist cloth for tough cleaning jobs-metho if desperate. Never use whiteboard cleaners on any whiteboard. Their job is to eat the surface so that you always need to use them.

Printing Problem

Check sensor (behind panel on the left hand side of the whiteboard screen), to ensure there is nothing there blocking it eg: post-it notes, dust etc. Once cleared, turn the power off and on again and the flashing L should disappear, and you should be able to print again.

Can not print "L" flaching

"L" is not one of the usual error codes for that whiteboard. you might have a sensor error behind the board. usually dirt and dust are blocking the sensors from reading the board.
