It is not a big problem, you can disable this notification withing 'options' from the main toolbar within Outlook Express.

Be sure to check if you have enough disk space on your computer and consider a 'disk cleanup' too.

This can be accessed from Start / Programs / Accessories / System Tools.

Good luck,

Erik.

No puedo ver mi correo electronico

google translated
I can not see my email address
Which email account ?
There are many possible causes that may prevent email from showing in Outlook Express.
Some issues may be resolved with a few clicks, while others may require more work to resolve.
Deleted Emails

Accidents happen.
The missing emails may have been deleted.
Click on "Deleted Items," located on the left-hand side, to check if your missing emails are in this folder.

Incorrect Selection

You may be unable to view your emails if you have selected the incorrect folder.
The email you wish to view may be in a sub-folder.

Ensure that "Inbox," located on the left-hand side, is selected and highlighted in gray.

View Settings

Click "View" at the top of the screen and click "Current View."
Ensure that the option "Show All Messages" is selected.

Any other selected option here will cause emails to not appear in Outlook Express.

Antivirus

If you have recently installed an antivirus program, check to see if it includes an email scanning program.

An incompatible or older version of an email scanner will cause your email to disappear from your inbox, as the program may have decided the email is spam or malware and is preventing you from seeing the message.

Account Settings

Verify your Outlook Express email account settings with your email service provider.
Generally, if these settings are incorrect, you will receive some type of error message.

Incorrect settings will cause you to not receive any email.

Corruption

Outlook Express may be corrupted.
A corrupted Outlook Express file will usually bring up an error message.

Sometimes the corrupted file can be replaced.
If it cannot, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Outlook Express.

Hi! Follow these steps to get the information:
1. Re-create your mail folder hierarchy by dragging folders into place in the Folder list. Note that any folder you have created to group sub-folders but that does not itself contain messages will not appear in the Folder list and so must be created again.
2. Re-download the list of newsgroups from each news account.
3. Reset your subscribed newsgroups and download messages again.
4. Reset synchronization options on IMAP and newsgroup folders.
5. Edit any message rule that moves or copies messages to folders other than the Inbox.

I can't email my projects from Platinum 16 because I use Yahoo mail not Outlook Express. I also have a Gmail account but I don't see any way to change the OE default. I have XP Pro.

To make Outlook Express Your Default Windows Email Program :
1.Make sure Outlook Express is not running.
2.Select Run... from the Start menu.
3.Type "msimn /reg" (excluding the quotation marks).
4.Hit Enter.Wait for, say, ten seconds for the process to finish. Nothing will appear on screen. Do not let that disturb you.
5.Launch Outlook Express.
6.Select Tools ' Options... from the menu.
7.Go to the General tab.
8.Click Make Default under Default Messaging Programs.Click OK

Cannot send/recieve mail outlook express

If you have installed Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, it will set itself as your default mail client. Hit the Windows ball or Start button on the lower left of the desktop - All Programs - Outlook Express. When it opens; hit File - Export - To Outlook (Messages). Outlook Express will export all of your messages, contacts and account settings to Outlook 2007 and you will be able to use the better, upgraded Outlook Mail client.
