Hi belinda,we have had the same problem over and over, even the technician didnt know what the problem was and we went and are still going through frustration..dont call a technician..take the back metal sheet off and there is a small plastic hose that connects onto a a small outlet on the right hand side bottomright of tub,it comes off and the sensor for water cutoff stuffs up,we tried to superglue and reclamp it but it still comes off through the vibrations,it is just trial it ourselves..so much for profesional technicians..and error, finding the best way to secure it..but thats where your problem comes from..

    Hi,
I had the same problem. Yes the small white tube was the problem. The tube was resting against the inside of machine casing and had worn through, so the vacum/air pressure wasn't working. There are sponge blocks on the tube to prevent the tube from touching the side but mine were in the wrong position. So to fix this I looked at removing the tube and finding a new one. Halfway into trying to remove the tube I realised it was going to take a while.
So I cut the worn piece of tube out and replaced it with some retic tubing. The retic fitted nicely inside the white tubeing and I used 2 small zipties to secure in place.
So my problem was slightly different to rhonddap but the same tube was involved.

Hi, I have the same problem with the same machine ( manufactured around 2006). I bought it second hand 4 years ago in good order. I have checked the top part where the electronics are...everything seems in order including the white tube. All secure. So I took off the silver back. Again , all secure. I have checked the white tubing it seems all fine. Help. I have been taking all my washing to the laundromat which is expensive. I cannot afford a new second hand machine or a serviceperson. Any clues please.
Everything else seems to be working except it doesnt recognise when to stop filling and just keeps filling. Therefore it doesnt start the wash cycle. I "managed" 2 loads by changing from the filling to the rinse and spin.It doesnt give the clothes a wash though.I swished it around in the wash bowl and then it drained and spun. Spins fine. Drains fine. Ive just paid over $100 for a new adjitator which I fitted myself three weeks ago.HELP

Simpson eziset 550 wont power up the power point definitely works and I have tested the machine on off switch

There is a fuse on the circuit board for this model. It just pops out of its holder. They go all the time.

Replace with a 4Amp Slow blow fuse.

They cost about $10 from Simpson (Electrolux), or you\'ll get a box of 6 or so from Dick Smith for a couple of bucks

I had the same problem before, but removing the kink in drain hose does the trick. Maybe yours is more complicated but try it.
